Clinical Research On Electroacupuncture Therapy With Regulating Du And Ren Channels Primarily On Post Stroke Depression

Purpose: To observe the clinical curative effect of post stroke depression (PSD) withelectroacupuncture treatment with regulating Du and Ren Channels primarily.Objection: According to randomized controlled trials,70patients who suffered frompost stroke depression were equally divided into treatment group and comparative group.Besides basic therapy the treatment group was given drugs and electroacupuncturetreatment with regulating Du and Ren Channels primarily while the comparative group wasonly given drugs. Two groups of patients were respectively evaluated by HAMD (24items)before treatment and2weeks after treatment. For curative effect, the HAMD scores of twogroups were calculated to get deducted rates. The data was analyzed by softwareSPSS16.0.Results:1.There are significant differences before and after treatment on both groups(P<0.05). It’s suggesting that improving depressive symptoms in both groups patients withPSD have a better effect after therapy.2.Clinical curative effects show that the remarkableeffective rate of the treatment group is37.50%while the comparative group is18.18%.3.There are dramatic variations in deducted rates on both groups (P<0.05).Itdemonstrates the curative effect of the treatment group is superior to the comparativegroup.Conclusion: So we come to a conclusion that electroacupuncture treatment withregulating Du and Ren Channels primarily has positive effects on post stroke depression.It’s worth to spread to clinical application.
