Objective:Using the cross-sectional survey method, to research the relationshipbetween the different Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) syndrome types and large andsmall artery elasticity index, and that will provide a theoretical basis for furtherintervention and research.Methods:In Pinyuan County of Shandong Province screen out1881cases the agemore than18years old people of organs and institutions of high blood pressure, through astandard form of questionnaire survey to collect baseline information such as age, sex,weight, heart rate, etc, existed risk elements information and quantitative data classificationsyndrome: According to "Chinese medicine clinical research guiding principles”,established a single and combination syndrome types among the yin deficiency andhyperactivity of yang, yin and yang deficiency,hyperactivity of liver fire,phlegm dampnessas the standard sub-type;diagnosis of Kidney Deficiency, the diagnosis can not beestablished from non-kidney deficiency syndrome;based on "Chinese medicine referenceDeficiency Syndrome" divide Kidney Deficiency Type and non Kidney Deficiency Type;using non-invasive detection devices large and small artery elasticity index determination,compare the different evidence-based large and small artery elasticity index difference.Results:The results showed:(1)The common syndromes of hypertension distributionwere yin deficiency and hyperactivity of yang(589/1668),yin and yang deficiency(577/1668),hyperactivity of liver fire(233/1668). The other symptoms of the sample sizeconstitutes a relatively small share, so they are not confirmed the clinical significance of statistical range. In the dialectical investigation, screen out kidney deficiency type1118cases,344cases of non kidney deficiency type.(2)The large and small artery elasticityindex after corrected main factors between hypertension standard type had no significantdifference (P>0.05).(3)The large and small artery elasticity index before and aftercorrecting between kidney deficiency and un-kidney deficiency of hypertension hadsignificant difference (P<0.05), the smaller of kidney deficiency syndrome suggested thedecreased large and small artery elasticity index C1, C2in the hypertension of kidneydeficiency syndrome.Conclusion:The basic syndromes of community hypertension of specific age,gender,concomitant diseases and other factors were yin and yang deficiency, yin deficiency andhyperactivity of yang and kidney deficiency.After correcting influential factors, comparedwith non-kidney deficiency syndrome, Kidney deficiency syndrome large and small arteryelasticity index is significantly lower. That is to say, arterial elasticity is decreased moresignificantly in kidney deficiency syndrome. On reflecting arterial elasticity changes,classification of kidney deficiency syndrome and non kidney deficiency syndrome may bemore sensitive than the classification of the standard types.
