Twelve weeks was a course oftreatment. Before and after treatment we observed the changes of thesymptoms, signs, fasting plasma glucose (FPG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1C), Anklebrachial index(ABI) and nerve conduction velocity,.T-test and X2test were used inprocessing data, and monitored the liver and renal functions. Results:Treatment group is more effective comparing with control group in thefollowing items:ABI(P<0.05), the MNCV and SNCV of the median nerve (P<0.01),theConduction speed of Phil. Total nerve and Phil. shallow neural of two groups both showsno obvious difference before and after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion:Tongbitang is functional for the treatment of High-risk diabetic footbelonging to Qi deficiency and blood stasis type, witch provides an effective and safemethod to treat diabetic foot with fewer side effects.
