ObjectiveMineral substance involve in the body’s metabolic and play an important role for the maintenance of human life. Hypertension is a chronic disease with arterial blood pressure sustained increase as the main manifestation, often causes lesions of the heart, brain, kidney and other vital organs and the corresponding consequences, which is the most common cardiovascular disease and a major public health problem in the worldwide. With the development of our social economy and the improvement of people’s living standard, the incidence of overweight and obesity have rapidly increasing, and has become a serious health problems. Hyperlipidemia is an independent risk factor for atherosclerosis, and more attention. Hepatitis B is one of the most common infectious diseases in China, with longer duration and great harm.Studies have shown that the mineral elements is in close contact with a variety of diseases. This experiment aims to study the relations of mineral substance and high blood pressure, obesity, hyperlipidemia. hepatitis b, smoking, alcohol consumption, drinking tea, and to provide new ideas and scientific basis for the prevention and control of the diseases and i the improvement of their living habits.Methods1The choice of investigating objectThe selected villages and towns are able to represent the background level of Junan County in the geographical environment, economic level and social environment with small population turnover, good compliance, and can insist on participating in the queue follow-up study.2The investigation contentThe content of the inquiry questionnaire is completed through face to face family visit with household as a unit. Home questionnaire include family member registration form, the health status of family members table, the table of suffering from chronic diseases within six months, table of life behavior, health examination form.3Health examinationThe selected object’s height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure values are measured, and total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, hepatitis B surface antigen in serum are determined.4The determination of potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, copper, iron, zinc and medical reference rangeThe contents of potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, copper, iron, zinc in serum are respectively determined by flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The crowd deducting the outliers and the value of this person of researched disease is identified for the study population, in order to determine medical reference range, medical reference range of the elements are obtained by SPSS16.0statistical software5The Study of the relation among the content of potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, copper, iron, zinc in serum and disease and life behaviorAccording to the investigation, physical examination findings and diagnosis of disease and behavior, the investigating objects are divided into essential hypertension group, obesity group, obesity group, hyperlipidaemia group, hepatitis B group, smoking group, drinking alcohol group, drinking tea group and normal control group. Using SPSS16.0statistical software discusses the relationship among the content of potassium, sodium, copper, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc in serum and each group..Results 1The result of the choice of investigating object4210people from6natural villages in Junan County are selected as the research object in accordance with the method.2The result of the content of potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, copper, iron in serum and medical reference rangeThe linear range of potassium, sodium, copper, calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc in this method are respectively0.20~4.0mg/L、1.0~5.0g/L、0.50~10mg/L、0.050~1.0mg/L、0.10~1.6mg/L、0.050~1.0mg/L、0.020~0.40mg/L, with a favorable linearity relation. Their limit of detection are respectively0.15mg/L、0.055g/L、0.18mg/L、0.025mg/L、0.039mg/L、0.28mg/L、0.015mg/L. the within-day precision is between0.70%to2.90%, the interday precision is between1.6%to5.5%, and the add mark recovery rate is93.3%~106.7. The medical reference range of potassium, sodium, copper, calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc are72.0~270mg/L、2.02~3.42g/L、25.3~287mg/L、8.42~34.3mg/L、0.39~1.59mg/L、0.82~4.11mg/L and0.34~3.76mg/L in male,82.2~302mg/L、2.09~3.57g/L、29.0~304mg/L、7.53~35.3mg/L、0.42~1.59mg/L、0.79~3.88mg/L and0.32~4.21mg/L in female.3Research of the relation between the content of potassium, sodium, copper, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc in serum and essential hypertensionThere is no significant difference of age, weight, height and body mass index between the essential hypertension group and the control group, and with good balance. There are statistical differences of the waistline, systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure between the two groups. The content of Cu, Zn and the Cu/Zn ratio in essential hypertension group is significantly higher than the control group, and there are statistical differences. The content of K, Cu, Zn in serum are positively correlated with systolic blood pressure, and the content of Cu is positively correlated with diastolic blood pressure. The stepwise logistic regression analysis of essential hypertension shows there are statistical differences between the content of Cu、Zn、 BMI、drinking、smoking、genetic factors in the two groups, illustrating that the two elements is the main factor influencing to essential hypertension. 4Research of the relation between the content of potassium, sodium, copper, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc in serum and simple obesityThe content of K、Na、Zn in serum of the obesity group is significantly lower than those in the control group, and there are statistical differences in the two groups. The content of K, Ca, Mg, Zn in serum of obese men is lower than the content in obese women. The content of K, Na, Cu, Zn in serum are obvious negative correlated with BMI level.5Research of the relation between the content of potassium, sodium, copper, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc in serum and hyperlipidaemiaThere are statistical differences of the content of TG, TC, LDL-C, K, Mg, Cu, Fe, Zn in serum between the hyperlipidaemia group and the control group. There is no significantly difference of the Zn/Cu ratio in the two groups. The content of Mg, Cu, Fe, Zn in serum are positively correlated wth TG. The content of Cu in serum are positively correlated with TC. The content of Na, Mg, Cu in serum are positively correlated with HDL-C. The content of K, Cu, Fe in serum are positively correlated with LDL-C. The content of Na in serum is negatively correlated with LDL-C6Research of the relation between the content of potassium, sodium, copper, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc in serum and hepatitis BThere is no significantly difference of the content of K, Na, Ca, Mg, Cu, Fe, Zn in serum between the hepatitis B group and the control group. and there is no significantly difference in different genders. The results of Logistic regression model indicated that there are significantly differences of the content of Mg, Zn in serum between the two groups, illustrating that the two factors are the main influence factors of hepatitis B.7Research of the relation between the content of potassium, sodium, copper, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc in serum and life behaviorThe content of Cu, Fe in drinking tea in serum is significantly higher than those in the control group. The content of Cu, Fe in serum in drinking green tea is significantly higher than those in the control group, The content of Zn in serum in the smoking group is significantly lower than those in the control group. These are all statistically significant. The content of Fe in serum is positively correlated with the quantity of tea that people have drunk in drinking tea group.ConclusionsThe mineral content in serum, the disease type and the life behavior of the investigating objects are systematically understood by the method of combining inquiring survey and laboratory testing. This survey shows that the medical reference range of these elements is normal and there is a close connection between hypertensive disease, simple obesity, hyperlipidaemia, hepatitis B, life behavior and the content of these elements of people in this area through the detecting of medical reference range and the researching of the relationship between disease and life behavior, indicating that optimizing life behavior may improve the body mineral content, and that balancing body minerals may have important significance of disease prevention and control.
