Objective1.Through analyzing surveillance data of HIV/AIDS from1998to2010, to explore epidemic characteristics and tendency of AIDS in Gaomi City,it provides science evidence in order to institute prevent and control strategy.2.To understand the current status of knowledge, attitudes, behaviors and practice about HIV/AIDS among mobile population in Gaomi City, and to explore the potential influence factors, it provides theory evidence for conducting the study of AIDS intervention model.Methods1.Descriptive epidemiology method was applied to analyze the epidemiological investigation data, screen test was conducted applying ELISA to detect anti-HIV antibody, positive screening was further confirmed in confirmation laboratory using Western Blotting test in Shandong center for disease control and prevention.SPSS17.0and EXCEL2003was used for data analysis.2.The use of independent design questionnaire, applying a convenience sampling,a total of862mobile populations were conducted a questionnaire survey where most likely employed, including service workers, builders and factory workers. The trained qualified investigators collected information by face-to-face anonymous methods of survey. The questionnaire included general demographic characteristics, AIDS-related knowledge, the attitudes and beliefs towards AIDS, AIDS-related healthy behaviors and high risk behavior, the main source of AIDS information and healthy needs etc.we entered data by software Epi info2002, the data were analyzed by SPSS17.0.Results1.Total of19098individuals were detected from1998to2010in Gaomi City,65HIV antibody positive were found, positive rate was3.4%o (65/19098),in which14were AIDS (21.5%)with12died (18.5%).Young adults from20to39years old were predominantly infected population(75.4%) with gender ratio being1.71:1;86.2%of then received only elemental education or even lower; the three major routs of transmission including blood-borne transmission, mother-to-child transmission, sexual transmission were existed in common,47.7%of themwere infected through sexual transmission,21.5%were infected through blood-borne transmission;64.6%of them were workers and peasants.2.The mobile population overall awareness of HIV/AIDS was76.5%.i.e,74.3%being aware of AIDS general knowledge,86.3%being aware of HIV transmission routs and68.0%of HIV non-transmission routs, the awareness rate of HIV/AIDS transmission route is significantly higher than general knowledge and non-transmission routs(P<0.001). Univariate and multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that he mobile population awareness of HIV/AIDS was related with age、occupation native place and education level.3.The overall correct rate of the attitudes towards AIDS and AIDS patient was62.3%. apart from gender and marriage, different age、occupation native place and education level were significantly different. The positive attitude of service workers toward AIDS and AIDS patients was higher than builders and factory workers,20-30years old were higher others, intra-province mobilization were higher than inter-province. The higher educational level was, the more rational the attitude toward AIDS and AIDS patients was.26.8%and14.5%of mobile population did not object to "pre-marital sex"and"extra-marital sex".76.3%of research objects had had sex in the past year, of them onlyl2.0%used condoms every time when had sex with their fixed partner, the main cause of no use condoms was belief each other and the lack pleasure. of them also only56.5%used condoms every time when had sex with their causal (bussiness) partner. the main cause of no use condoms was the lack pleasure and expensive condoms.4.The main way to acquire AIDS-related knowledge was from TV or radio4(82.6%), newspaper or magazine (71.6%) propaganda poster or column of advertisement (66.5%) respectively.80.3%and76.5%of objects hope to acquire preventive measures and transmission routs of AIDS, however, the needs to epidemic status and AIDS related policies and regulations were low.Conclusions1.The epidemic of AIDS was low prevalence state in the overall in Gaomi City, the risk factors of epidemic still extensively existed,AIDS is diffusing from high-risk groups to the general population through multiple transmission routes. Active surveillance should be further strengthen, carry on effect high-risk interventions and extensive healthy education, enhance self-protect conscious, institute effect prevention and control measures, control the prevalence of HIV/AIDS.2.Though the mobile population have some of certain cognition of HIV/AIDS,it was not allround and systematic, the incidence high-risk behavior was relatively high, the frequency of condom use was low relatively, the lack consciousness of self-protect, majority of the mobile population discriminated against AIDS and AIDS-patients. Age、occupation、education level and native place were factors affecting the awareness of HIV/AIDS, which showed that the action of the mass media (TV or radio, newspaper or magazine, etc) should further strengthen, carry on effect health education and high-risk behavior intervention, reduce discrimination or negative attitude promote100%condom use, prevent the transmission and prevalence of AIDS.
