| Objectives: To assess the surgical therapeutic result of thoracolumbarfracture by pedicle screw fixation through paraspinal approach ortraditional open approach.Methods:87thoracolumbar fracture patients were divided into twogroups:40cases were included in the paraspinal approach group and47cases were in the traditional open approach group. The perioperative indexand postoperative VAS score was compared. Results: There were significant differences in the surgical time, surgical blood loss, dead space size, surgical draining loss and VAS scorebetween the two groups. The efficacy of the two surgical approach are thesame. Conclusions: The treatment for thoracolumbar fractures throughparaspinal approach can cut down the stripping of the paraspinal muscle, sothis method can reduce dead space size, surgical draining loss and lumbagoand back pain. |
