Objective To explore the risk factors of fever after percutaneousnephrolithotomy and find the preventive measures.Methods The retrospective study was made of clinical data about121cases of urinary stone by percutaneous nephrolithotomy,and the risk factorsof fever were analyzed.Results Fever after percutaneous nephrolithotomy occurred in19casesand the incidence rate was15.7%.fever after percutaneous nephrolithotomywas related to preoperative urinary tract infection,diabetes,operativetime(more than90min),the diameter of stone(more than2.0cm) and stoneculture results.There was a significant difference between fever group andnon-fever group(P<0.05).Conclusion Fever after percutaneous nephrolithotomy is common andadequate preoperative,treatment for urinary tract infections,intraoperativeskilled operation and using effective antibiotics are effective measure toprevent postoperative fever.
