Research And Validation Of Chronic Hepatitis C Chinese Quality Of Life Scale

Object:To develop a Quality of Life Scale in Patients with Chronic Hepatitis C, and practice the table of validity, reliability and responsiveness test, in order to provide an effective tool for our quality of life assessment of patients with Chronic Hepatitis C.Method:As the cornerstone of clinical practice,develop a Quality of Life Scale in Patients with Chronic Hepatitis C, which Reflects the traditional Chinese medicine efficacy characteristics and suitable for China.The subjects came from outpatients or inpatients with chronic hepatitis C of Jiangsu Province Hospital of TCM from April2011to December2011.The form of a questionnaire to conduct on-site survey, some patients retested after1-2months. All the data were analyzed with the statistic software SPSS19.0for social sciences.The reliability of retest Was evaluated with Pearson’S correlation coefficients;the reliability of internal consistency Was evaluated with Cronbach’S alpha coefficients;the content validity Was evaluated with whether the research methods and procedures were standard or the content device is reasonable;the structure validity Was evaluated with factor analysis;the criteria validity was evaluated by correlation coefficients;double sample test Was done with Independent Sample T Test to test whether there would be significant total divided difference between two independent samples.Results:①Validity test:This table has good content validity(P<0.05);The correlation coefficient of criteria validity was0.795(P=0.000);The construct validity was good as indicated by factor analysis;There were statistical differences in every aspect and total scale scores between research subject and healthy control subject(P<0.05);②The internal consistency analysis showed that the Cronbach’s alpha coefficients of total scales and4aspects were above0.9,except other perceptions aspect was slightly below0.9, demonstrating high internal reliability of the scale;The analysis of the retest reliability of the scale showed the test-retest correlation coefficients of total scale and5aspects were above0.7(P<0.05).Conclusion:1. The Chinese standard version of QOL-CHC questionnaire has been formed by revising.2. The reliability and validity of Chinese version of QOL-CHC questionnaire are good,and Can be applied to assess quality of life for patients with Chronic Hepatitis C in China.
