Objective:to explore the level and correlation between the two kinds of index expressions of the hemoglobin oxidase-1(HO-1) and active oxygen (ROS) in the plasma of the patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease called coronary heart disease (CHD), both of which are the differences of the expressions in the plasma of the patients who come from the Yan Bian Korean and the Han nationality. Methods:Enzyme immunosorbent method (ELISA) is used to measure the concentrations of the hemoglobin oxidase-1(HO-1) and active oxygen (ROS) in the plasma, which is collected from the group of the22Korean patients and the group of the26Han nationality patients, that have been diagnosed with coronary heart disease, moreover, the20cases of the normal control group is added, then, these three groups are compared mutuallyResults:there are no significant differences among of the factors of age.sex and triggers (HDL-C、LDL-C、TG)in Korean coronary heart disease group, the Han nationality group, and coronary heart disease in normal control group (P>0.05). the concentration of HO-1and ROS in the plasma of the Korean coronary and the Han nationality group with heart disease are higher significantly than that of the normal control group (P<0.01). there is a significant difference of statistical significance, the ROS concentration between two groups has no obvious difference (P>0.05). the related between HO and ROS in the plasma of Coronary heart disease patients is a straight line.Conclusion:HO-1and ROS are participated and promote mutually the development process of the interaction of coronary artery disease pathology, the differences of CHD incidence and mortality between Yan Bian Korean and Han nationality may have a relation with the level of HO-1in the plasma.
