The Discussion Of The Value Of Tiotropium Bromide In The Treatment Of Asthma

ObjectiveTo study the effect on the patients with moderate persistent asthma by inhalation tiotropium combined fluticasone propionate.Methods40Patients with moderate persistent asthma were enrolled in the study and randomized into four groups(N=10):(1)group D,(the tiotropium combined fluticasone propionate group);(2)group A,(the fluticasone propionate group);(3)group B,(the salmeterol/flutieason group);(4)group C,(the tiotropium combined salmeterol/flutieason group). And treated by tiotropium(18μg once per day) combined fluticasone propionate(250μg bid), fluticasone propionate(250μg bid), salmeterol/flutieason(50/250μg bid) and tiotropium(18μg once per day) combined salmeterol/flutieason(50/250μg bid) respectively for8weeks. And pulmonary function, ACT score, and the number of the medicine to alleviat symptoms are observed. Dring the trial, salbutamol which could be used as the medicine to alleviat symptoms.Result1.After8weeks treatment, the fluctuation of FEV1,FEV1/FVC and PEF among group A, group B, group C,and group D during the treatment are significantly different (P<0.05):group D is higher than group A(P <0.05),but there was no difference among group D,group B and group C(P>0.05).2.After8weeks treatment, the fluctuation of ACT score and Symptom scores at night among group A, group B, group C,and group D during the treatment are significantly different(P<0.05):group D is higher than group A(P<0.05), but there was no difference among group D,group B and group C(P>0.05).3.After8weeks treatment, the number of the medicine to alleviat symptoms among group A, group B, group C,and group D during the treatment are significantly different (P<0.05):group D is higher than group A(P<0.05),but group C is higher than group D(P<0.05) and there was no difference between group D and group B (P>0.05).Conclusion1.Using tiotropium combined canfuction propionate can fuction more dramastically than using canfuction propionate, the former are not only able to improve patient with moderate persistent asthma respiratory function,but also improve the quality of life.2.Using tiotropium combined canfuction propionate are as effeetive as using salmeterol/flutieason to improve patient with moderate persistent asthma respiratory function and the quality of life, which provides a new meath to cure patients.3.Using tiotropium combined canfuction propionate are as effeetive as using tiotropium combined salmeterol/flutieason to improve patient with moderate persistent asthma respiratory function.but the latter is higher than the former to improve the quality of life.
