Objectives:To observe the clinical effects in treating the early stage of hepatic stasis, hyperactivity of Liver Yang of Essential Hypertension (EH) caused by anger with themethod of Pingan-Qianyang-Shugan and analyze the mechanism of this treatment intreating the early stage of Essential Hypertension. Methods:This research was based on60cases of outpatients with hepatic stasis, hyperactivity of Liver Yang from the clinic of the hospital affiliated to TCM of ShandongProvince. They were randomly divided into two groups. One group was the treatmentgroup, the patients of which were treated with the Pingan-Qianyang decoction andNifedipine extended-release tablets. The other group was the control group, with patientsbeing treated with the tablets only. Each group was made up of30cases. These patients allmet diagnosis criterion of the TCM and the Modern medicine. Results:After the course of treatment, significant difference was apparent in theclinical effects:①The comparion of blood pressure: The total effective rate of bloodpressure was93.33%in the treatment group and86.67%in the control group. There wasnot significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).②The comparion of thechange of blood pressure: After treatment, the average systolic pressure, the averagediastolic pressure of the two groups obviously drop, both the blood pressure of two groupsis better than before (P<0.01).③The comparion of the chinese medicine symptomscurative effort: In the treatment group,17cases recovered and8cases significantlyimproved,(thus the effectual rate is83.33%),3cases improved. The total effective rate in the treatment group is93.33%.In the control group,5cases recovered and4casessignificantly improved,(thus the effectual rate is30.0%),11cases improved. The totaleffective rate in the control group is66.67%.There was statistically significant differencein the total effective rate between the treatment group and control guoup(P<0.01).Theeffective rate of the treatment group is clearly superior than the control group.④Thecomparion of the total of chinese medicine symptom individually: two groups comparewith the treatment before, the difference has statistics significance(P<0.01),after thetreatment, the treatment group reduces obviously, compares with the comtrol group, hasstatistics significance (P<0.01).⑤The comparion of the curative effort of the single itemsymptom:the improvement of the treatmentConclusions:Above all, the theory of Pingan-Qianyang-Shugan is a effective methodto the patient with hepatic stasis and hyperactivity of Liver Yang mutually of EssentialHypertension caused by anger.
