ObjectiveTo Describe of the vocational maturity the status quo and self-Construa-1features of undergraduate nursing students; analysis the career maturity cha-racteristics of the general population of undergraduate nursing students, and its impact on the career maturity; to clarify the career maturity of undergrad-uate nursing students to read their self-construals.analysis undergraduate nur-sing students self-constructs of their career maturity;by analyzing the impact of nursing undergraduate career maturity of the main factors for the future to have targeted their career guidance an important theoretical and practical gui-dance to improve the occupational psychological quality of undergraduate nu-rsing students and vocational decision-making ability,make it has a successful career.MethodsThis study adopts the convenience sampling method, select from March2011to December2011, students in the study questionnaire at the Heilongjia-ng University of Chinese Medicine studying full-time undergraduate four-year nursing profession.466questionnaires were distributed,431valid questionn-aires. Research tools, including general information questionnaire, vocational maturity questionnaire an self-construal scale. The SPSS17.0survey data usi-ng statistical analysis, statistical methods including descriptive statistical an-alysis, single factor analysis of variance, Pearson correlateon and regression analysis.Results(1) Nursing undergraduate career maturity are divided into3.098, Overa-ll mean self-construals4.614, both higher than the secondary threshold, but compared to previous studies, both lower than college students overall level. Among them, the undergraduate nursing students in career maturity question-aire,the knowledge of career decision-making score higher than the career de-cision-making attitude, the scale of self-construals interdependent self-constr- ual subscale score higher.(2) career maturity of nursing undergraduate students and whether or not an internship two factors are significantly different (p<0.05) in sex, whether the child and grade three factors had no significant difference (p>0.05). Stu-dents from the cities and towns, as well as internship studentshigherher levels of career maturity.(3) the difference in whether the one-child nursing undergraduates self-construals of two subscales were extremely significant (p<0.01), which inte-rdependent self-construal scale in terms of gender there were significant dif-ferences (p<0.05). independent self-construal scale differences in the students on the ground is extremely significant (p<0.01). The two subscales of self-construal in the year since the variables no significant differences (p>0.05).(4) self-construal score and independence, and interdependence of the t-wo subscales and total score of career maturity and career decision-making k-nowledge, career decision making attitudes showed a bilateral positive correl-ation,and there are significant differences (p<0.01).(5) self-construal level undergraduate nursing students on the career mat-urity score and two sub-questionnaires there are very significant differences (p<0.01), and the nursing undergraduate career maturity of each dimension and total score from low self-construal group showed a rising trend to high self-concept group.(6) self-constructs of career maturity, regression analysis, the regression equation significantly (F=92.543, p<0.01). self-construal a significant pre-dictor of career maturity of college students.Conclusion(1) nursing undergraduate career maturity, self-construal of level average less than the overall level of college students;(2) career maturity from out of town students in the undergraduate nursi-ng students were significantly higher than students from the countryside, the maturity of the internship students was significantly higher than those without internship students. No significant difference in career maturity of undergrad-duate nursing students on gender, whether one child and three factors of the y-ear;(3) undergraduate nursing students in the cognitive system of self-constr-uals, highlighted by traditional Chinese culture of collectivism-based,more p-erformance for the interdependent type of self-construal;(4) self-construal level of undergraduate nursing students in the three fa-ctors of gender, students, and in whether the one-child significant differences of whom are girls, only child of non-interdependent self-construal,while the one-child as well as from town students to the independent self-construal;(5) self-construals of undergraduate nursing students their career maturi-ty was a bilateral positive and significant correlation. By regression analysis found that undergraduate nursing students self-construals of their career mat-urity has a very good prediction.
