Clinical Study Of Rectocele Repair Combined With Buyirunchang Decoction In The Treatment Of Anterior-Rectocele Constipation

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of repair combined with Buqirunchang decoction in the treatment of rectocele and to analyze the outcome of the patients twice after the operation.Methods:From November2010to April2012,48female patients diagnosed with moderate or severe rectocele were randomly allocated to treatment group or control group. The surgical treatment was used in the control group and Buyirunchang decoction Treatment combining with the surgical treatment was used in the treatment group. The preoperative status, perioperative and postoperative complications at baseline,2-week and6-mo after operation were assessed. Data were collected prospectively from standardized questionnaires for the assessment of constipation [constipation scoring system, Longo’s obstructed defecation syndrome (ODS) score system, symptom severity score].Results:The total effective rate of the surgical treatment on Rectocele Repair is95.8%.And there are fewer postoperative complications. The cardinal symptoms, signs and auxiliary examination results in the second week and the sixth month are improved significantly after treatment.Conclusion:Rectocele repair correct the weak area of rectovaginal septum and Buyirunchang decoction can improve patients’overall condition. Combined treatment method has good clinical curative effect and can be used as the treatment of rectocele constipation ideal scheme.
