Analysis Of Misdiagnosis For The Spinal Dural Arteriovenous Fistula

Objective:In order to shorten the diagnosis time, improve patients’postoperative quality of life, guide clinical work, we discuss the failure in early diagnosis of SDAVFMethods:we selected63misdiagnosis cases before or after admission from the331SDAVF treating of patients, made a retrospective analysis in the time of final diagnosis, clinical features and so on, made a conclusion in misdiagnosis, discussed the possible influence.Results:The average time of diagnosis reaches22.5months, the misdiagnosis of "disc",which is the most, accounts for50.79%, followed by myelitis, urinary diseases, rare starting as a "subarachnoid bleeding " occurred in the high cervical spinal cord in the SDAVF concurrent venous tumor-like change.Conclusion:1. The main misdiagnosis is disc.2. The misdiagnosis extended the time of final diagnosis, adding to the continued deterioration of the spinal cord degeneration and necrosis, with sensory, motor, bowel and bladder dysfunction, poor prognosis.3To reduce disability and improve the prognosis, strengthening the cooperation between various departments, early diagnosis and surgical treatment is the main method.
