The Study On Learning Burnout Present Status And Determinants Among Nursing Students From A Three-Year Medical College

BackgroundNowadays, the health reform in our country is carrying on, the reform must influence the connotation and extension of nursing service projects, the quantity and quality of nursing service as while.Now job burnout has not be ignored in the nursing occupational disease, and nursing students as a nursing professional supplementary team, the manner of their studies and learning effect of the study, they have a direct effect on the stability of the nursing team. The study of the nursing students’learning burnout, influencing factors and the strategies are very important for maintaining the stability of the nursing development.Research ObjectivesThe purpose of this research is to study the condition and the influencing factors of nursing students learning burnout, and then advanced several strategies to abate this phenomenon. Such as reform measures about teaching mode, curriculum setting.etc. so as to promote the nursing students physical and mental health,correct their study manner, and improve the learning efficiency,then while they become the clinical nurses, they can provide high quality service.Rsearch MethodThe method of this study includes literature review, census method, questionnaire, case interviews, descriptive analysis of the data, the single factor analysis, correlation analysis and factor analysis, etc. The thesis use"the college students’ learning burnout scale" by fujian normal university LianRong and YangLiXian, and wrote"the nursing students learning burnout influence factors scale"to explore present situation and the main influence factors. And it makes use of several statistics methods, such as ANOVA, T Test,Logistic Regression and Correlation analyze to approach the influence of the variable to nursing students learning burnout, the influential factors of the nursing students learning burnout. On this basis, the results of personal interviews on some representative nursing students are documented, and it would be supplemented of the questionnaire.Main Results1.The learning burnout level of nursing students is comparatively high. About67.4%nursing students have the learning burnout Phenomenon. The personal average score of learning burnout is3.055, belong to mild-to-moderate range. There are gender differences in the general burnout and the level of behavior inadequacy, Male students are higher than females at the level of learning burnout. There are grade differences in the general burnout, the level of reduced personal accomplishment. The learning burnout level of the freshmen is the higher than sophomores. There are nature differences in the general burnout. Introverted nature of the students burnout is the most serious. Different origin region of student has differences in the general burnout, the level of emotional turndown. The learning burnout level of the countryside student is the higher than city students.There are college major differences in the level of behavior inadequacy.The learning burnout level of the english nursing students are higher than ordinary nursing students. There is significant difference in the learning burnout level concerned with academic achievement.The lower achievers have higher learning burnout level. There are upgrade will differences in the level of emotional turndown, the level of reduced personal accomplishment. The nursing student who has upgrade will is higher in the level of emotional turndown and lower in the level of reduced personal accomplishment.2. Regression analysis shows seven aspects which have significant influence in learning burnout:curriculum setting, learning environment,the teachers, learning evaluation methods, upgrade will, employment pressure, professional cognitive and the study interest.Conclusion and SuggestionThe learning burnout level of nursing students is comparatively high,although most of the nursing students are in a mild-moderate state, but it would be severe if in some unusual situation.so the results cannot be ignored.Regression analysis showed, curriculum setting, learning environment, the teachers, examining ways, upgrade will, employment pressure, professional interest, seven factors has obvious effects on learning burnout. Therefore, in view of the influence factors, the author puts forward some suggestions as follows:1.The current educational environment should be optimized, build pay attention to health, respect the nurse’s social atmosphere.2.The college should update education idea, optimizing the course setting, reform the teaching method, strengthen the training practice.3. The college should relief study pressure, stimulate the passion of professional learning.4. The college should strengthen the psychological counseling, shaping healthy students’ personality.
