Social phobia has become the third mental health problem in the world following the depression and the excessive drinking. Compared to the other age groups, the younger groups (7-25years old) have the higher incidence of social phobia. The psychological barrier of social phobia have been a common psychological problem in youth groups, which has seriously affected the healthy growth of youngsters.In terms of social phobia treatment, Humanistic therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy have their own advantages. This article introduces the technical requirements and the characteristics of Humanistic therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy systematically. Through making the comparative analysis of the elements table, discusses the applicability and the complementarity of the two different therapies, at the same time, combining the characteristics and problems of social phobia to explore the feasibility and associability of two models. In addition, the article displays the operation of two models in one typical case about social phobia. In practice, taking advantage of the client-centered therapy in building the harmonious atmosphere and the therapeutic bonds of the treatment as well as inquiring really inside world of the client, and stimulating potation. Simultaneously, using the specific methods and skills of cognitive behavioral therapy in cognitive restructuring, system exposure therapy and behavior study, which aimed to help the client overcome the psychological obstacles. Combining case work with group work, in order to consolidate the gains that already made. And help to remodel the "perception-action-emotion" system of the client. The whole process has four stages and be divided into eight times.Finally, the author discusses his results and self-reflections about the operation of client-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy in practice.
