An Investigation Of Relative Factors Of Premature Ovarian Failure

Objective:Through the investigation of NanJing premature ovarian failure patients to explore all possible risk factors and protective factors that affect the occurrence of premature ovarian failure, provide scientific basis for the further prevention of premature ovarian failure.Methods:We collected informations from Traditional Chinese Medcine Hospital of Jiangsu Province by taking the detail history in168patients with POF(POF group) and in42healthy women (control group),who were evaluated from March2009to February2012.Carried out the survey with a unified self-made questionnaire. Gathering the detailed medical history and the questionnaire of Type A personality from the two sets femme by face to face. Dates were analyzed with Chi-squaretest, nonParametric test or the conditional Logistic regression according to the type of the material, then calculated the Odds Ratio and the95%confidence.Results:1.76.19%POF patients were between30-40years old.2.2.38%POF patients had family history. POF may be associated with inheritance.3.POF was not associated with age at menarche, menstrual cycle, menstrual period, menstrual volume and pain, but associated with the times of pregnance (p=0.037).And the more artificial abortion, the higher incidence of POF(OR=5.555,95%C.1=1.672-18.456).4. Having ovarian related operation history, such as ovariectomy, oophorocystectomy, ovarian biopsy, was associated with POF(p=0.047). Having had parotitis was a important risk factor of POF(OR=3.906,95%C.1=1.223~12.478).5. Initiative smoking and drinking was not associated with POF, but passive smoking was associated with it. Passive smoking was a risk factor of POF(OR=4.031,95%C.I=1.161~13.997).6.Pcople who have Type A personality were risk factor of POF(OR=5.912,95%C.1=1.670~20.934).Because Type A personalities always seek to prevail over others, have a sense of urgency, sensitive but lack of patience, ambitious but irritable and were easily prone to attack others, which has high incidence of POF. If someone always had a feeling of high pressure, whatever comes from life or work, it will increase the incidence of POF(p=0.003).7. Taking more vegetables and bean may decrease the occurrence rate of POF, but Taking more exercises was a protective factor of POF(OR=0.102,95%C.1=0.032~0.332).People who had poor sleeping long time were risk factor of POF(OR=3.723,95%C.I=1.174~11.811).Conclusion:1.Artificial abortion, having had parotitis, Type A personality and passive smoking are risk factors of POF.2. Taking more exercises is a protective factor of POF.3. Having had a history of ovarian operation is highly associated with POF.
