Chinese Constitution Classification Of Crohn’s Disease In The Initial Study

Purpose:Constitution is important pattern of manifestation of human being, and nature of disease and the process depends on the constitution character of the ill body. Epidemiological method was used to analyze the hinese constitution classification in Crohn’s disease groups, we can provide the scientific evidence to prevent and cure Crohn’s disease through this research.In order to summarize chinese constitution classification in outpatient and inpatient with Crohn’s disease,we do the forward-looking research and review lot’s of cases to analyze the clinical manifestations of syndromes.Besides we also do research on the relationship among the disease type,age and chinese constitution classification.We hope that it can provide some guidance to the diagnosis and treatment of Crohn’s disease using chinese medicine.Methods:First of all,we do retrospective analysis of general information of the100patients with Crohn’s disease in Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Jiangsu Province during the period2010.01~2012.03.Then we select100cases which clinical symptoms and tongue pulse is complete,then use SPSS17.0to analyse the data stored in Microsoft Excel.So that we can figure out the relationship between chinese constitution classification and Crohn’s disease,besides,we also can figure out the relationship among syndrome and age, sex,and clinical manifestion.Results:In100patients with crohn’s disease,we found that There is relationship between chinese constitution classification and crohn’s disease。The study found that the number of the cases of quality of damp-heat and phlegm-dampnessare the majority in the disease, and the pecial intrinsic quality is the least. The frequency of chinese constitution classification in this disease is damp-heat>phlegm-dampness> blood stasis> qi stagnation> yang deficiency> qi deficiency> yin deficiency>pecial intrinsic quality. By chi-square test, P<0.05, statistically significant.
