Objective:The purpose of the clinical observation is about intra-group and with-group comparisons between pre-and post-treatment and then evaluate the clinical efficacy of treating limitations vitiligo. Compare and analyze the treating effect of the traditional Chinese medicine "baibanye" and halometasone cream to treat patients. Explore the effective methods for vitiligo. Methods:It is a perspetiveness randomized controlled study. We devided the selected vitiligo cases from the out-patient into two groups randomly.30cases were in the treatment group, which were treated by the traditional Chinese medicine "baibanye" for external use.30cases were in the control group, which were treated by halometasone cream for external use. We made an observation table for recording the information which we collect the skin lesion of vitiligo, the accompany symptoms and pre-mid-and post-treatment change. We put the information into the datebase, and statisticsed with the Statistical software(SPSS)19.0.Results:After3months therapy,it shows us the results as follow:1. The skin lesion of vitiligo are improved significantly by both therapies. There is statistics difference between pre-and post-treatment(P<0.05). It shows the both therapies are effective on treating limitations vitiligo.2. The total effective rate in the treatment group(73.33%) is higher than that of the control group(40%). There is statistics difference between the two groups(P<0.05).3. Compared with the skin lesion proportion of vitiligo pre-and post-treatment there is non-statistics difference in the two groups(P>0.05). It can not show that the traditional Chinese medicine "baibanye" treatment is more quickly in improving the skin lesion.4. The treatment group appear in2cases of local skin irritant reaction during the therapy. The control group4patients experienced side effects as papule acne sample damage and pigmentation. Two groups of adverse reaction rate difference was statistically significant (P>0.05), still can’t think treatment group than the control group safe, but the treatment group adverse reaction of a minor. Conclusion:The therapies by the traditional Chinese medicine "baibanye" and halometasone cream on treating limited type vitiligo are effective.
