Backgroud In" the World Health Report2002", cardiovascular disease mortality rate isextremely high, every year17000000people death from cardiovascular disease, cardiovasculardisease has been recognized as a major threat to human health disease. In has been confirmed incardiovascular disease risk factors, socioeconomic status (SES) occupies an important position. In the study of the relationship between SES and hypertension and its risk factors, the findings ofwestern developed countries and developing countries are not consistent. In China, the relevantresearch literature rarely, there are regional differences. To study the relationship between areaSES and hypertension and its risk factors, help to determine the key population of theintervention can be better targeted to take preventive health care strategies. Objective Survey of hypertension prevalence, analyzes the socioeconomic status (education, occupation, income, marital status) and hypertension and its risk factors (fasting blood glucose, homocysteine, blood lipid, high sensitivity C-reactive protein, serum uric acid)relationship.Provide a scientific basis for the intervention of the focus groups. Methods Using random sampling method.Survey Yingze and Xinghualing district of TaiyuanProvince residents. by filling out the questionnaire to obtain its education level, professional, income, marriage and other information, measured blood pressure, Testing fasting blood glucose, blood lipids (including total cholesterol (TC), triglyeeride (TG), high density lipoproteincholesterol (HDL-c), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-c),serum uric acid,High-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and homocysteine (HCY) levels and otherindicators, finally carries on the system analysis.Result Surveyed the prevalence of hypertension was28.74%, male and female hypertensionprevalence rate is respectively29.73%,28.27%. The highest prevalence for people over the ageof65, reached44.87%. In addition to marital status, other markers of socioeconomic status andprevalence of hypertension are related. Educational attainment is associated with many riskfactors of hypertension. the higher level of socio-economic status comprehensive factors, thegreater risk of suffering from high blood pressure, blood uric acid content is higher. HCY andprofessional related. Have not yet found the association between hs-CRP and risk factors ofhypertension. Conclusions Social economic status of each index and its comprehensive factors andhypertension risk factors are closely related. on different SES status of populations for early intervention can prevent the occurrence of hypertension.
