Objective:1.Based on the nutritional status of children with sensory integration dysfunction and parental knowledge level of investigation, on nutritional status of children with sensory integration ability development relations, for the prevention of child sensory integration dysfunction occurs to provide new thinking.2.To analyze in-depth the effects of parents’nutrition knowledge to improve preschool children sensory integration ability, and the effective method development of sensory integration training, improve, through the evaluation to intervention of children with sensory integration dysfunction of sensory integration ability.Subjects and methods:1.Investigation:to recruit60preschool children as research object through the poster form, who are volunteers enrolled in sensory integration training and were assessed as the sensory integration dysfunction. They were Investigated in physical examination, dietary nutritional survey and parental nutrition knowledge status questionnaire.2.Intervention research:60children with sensory integration dysfunction were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group, the experimental group used children sensory integration training and parents’nutrition knowledge intervention, control group only with sensory integration training method.3.A follow-up study:three months of the intervention ended later, the children sensory integration ability, physical condition, dietary, and parental nutrition knowledge were investigated, and the effect of intervention were evaluated by parents for subjective evaluation.Results:1.The nutritional knowledge questionnaire survey of the parents of60children with sensory integration dysfunction found that nutrition knowledge score of sensory integration children’ parents was57.35±12.84, the pass rate for36.7%; attitude score was81.94±18.73; children’s eating behavior scores for70.07±3.02. Regression analysis indicated that, children sensory integration ability is effected by the mother’s level of education and child gender. 2.The index for Kaup of the60children with sensory integration dysfunction is16.29±1.58,with20%wasting phenomenon. the result of correlation analysis shows the body weight, body mass index, skin fold thickness will affect children sensory integration ability.3.The survey found that:the intake of vitamin B1, zinc, calcium of children with sensory integration dysfunction were below the standard intake (P<0.05). The correlation analysis and canonical correlation analysis indicated that children sensory integration ability is affected by the intake of energy, protein, vitamin B2, iron, zinc, magnesium, calcium.4.Evaluation on effect of intervention:the ability of experimental group and the control group of sensory integration has improved significantly after the intervention (P<0.05). The experimental group improved more obviously than the control group. Sensory integration training effect by whether or not the parents’nutrition knowledge intervention, protein, vitamin A, calcium, magnesium intake variation value and physical change.5.The follow-up results:the children’s sensory integration ability were measured again after3months. It found that the long-term training effect of children sensory integration in nutrition intervention group is better than pure sensory integration training; but the parents reflected the dietary behavior change is in difficulties.Conclusion:1.Children sensory integration ability are closely related with child nutritional status. Physical emaciation, inadequate nutrient intake is the risk factors of sensory integration disorder.2.Sensory integration training is the effective method to improve sensory integration dysfunction in children.3.Nutrition intervention to parents is helpful to enhance the children sensory integration training effect. The improvement of children sensory integration ability is associated with child physical changes, the increased intake in protein, vitamin A, calcium, magnesium and other nutrient.4.3months later the intervention ended, follow-up found that it’s difficult for application in nutrition knowledge of dietary to guide child eating. The eating behaviors of children were back to the condition before the intervention. It suggested that nutritional intervention requires repeated reinforcement, in order to ensure the formation of stable patterns of behavior.
