Objective: To observe the significance of Ihe yang in the pathogonesis of allergic rhinitis, and the efficacy of yang and cold method and the main prescription for the trealment of the disease.Method:(1) Literature review: Statistical analysis of the different presentations was carried out by systematically reviewing publications identified through a search of the national database. Particular emphasis was placed on publications that addressed the pathophysiology of disease in traditional Chinese medicine; case reports; and analysis of presentations. Comparisons were made between the therapeutic efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine and modern medicine. Through a study of ancient documents and modern literature, we hope to portray the important role of yang qi in the pathophysiology of allergic rhinitis.(2) Clinical research:200patients were randomly allocated into treatment and control groups. The treatment group received traditional Chinese medicine Xiaoqing long Decoction that containing Gui15g, the ephedra5g, dried ginger10g, white peony root15g, the Asarum5g, cooked tuber log, the Sehisandra10g, Baked Licorice10g, Xanthium log, Salvia30g. The pulmonary Deficiency Astragalus15g, Atractylodes fried15g, wind10g: Spleen wet storm plus Codonopsis20g, Poria30g, fried Atrnctylodes15g: lung swelter type plus: gypsum log, Morns alba, KJg, Cortex Moutan10g. Subjects in the treatment group were given half a dose of the above preparation twice daily. The control group received hydrochloric acid west for Lee hydrochloride tablets,10mg/Qd. The respective therapies were continued for30consecutive days before analysing the pre/post therapeutic symptom adjusted scores.Results: (1) Literature review:35presentations were identified from404publications, of which, the20most frequent presentations were lung spleen deficiency, spleen deficiency, lung and kidney yang virtual sense of cold, lung deficiency etc.(in descending order of frequency). The therapeutic efficacy was85.35%for Chinese medicine and68.4%for modern medicine. The difference between the two groups were statistically significant with P<0.001. The therapeutic efficacy was95.35%for yang warming qi rectifying traditional Chinese medicine and70.25%for modern medicine. The difference between the two groups were statistically insignificant P>0.05(2) Clinical research:The treatment group had a60%higher efficacy than the control group (P<0.01); the overall efficacy of the treatment group was98%higher than the control group with a statistically significant P-value of less than0.01Conclusion:Treatment of Allergic Rhinitis starling from lhe systemic yang overall modulating, in order to distinguish the yin and yang I’u Yang theory under the guidance of the Master, the clinical focus on supporting positive treatment of yang caused by Allergic Rhinit is disease of great significance: yang and cold method and the main fang Xiaoqing Dragon Decoct ion treatment of the disease has a good effect. The main prescription small Qingiong Decoction, which has been shown to have better therapeutic efficacy.
