Clinical Research Of Recurrent Vulvovaginal Candidiasis Treated By Xianglian Series

ObjectiveTo observe clinical and mycological curative effect of Xianglian Series in the treatment of recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis, and preliminarily explore the mechanism.MethodsDivide30patients of recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis into two groups randomly, there were15patients in test group, and15patients in control group. Give the test group two Xianglian suppositories and two miconazole nitrate capsule mimetic treatment, the control group was given two miconazole suppositories and two Xianglian simulated agent treatmend. Observe the clinical and mycological curative effect after three months.Results:The cured and markedly effective rate in test group was93.3%, and86.7%in control group. The fungus clearance in test group was93.3%, and86.7%in control group. There were no significant differences between the two groups (P>0.05). The overall efficacy index in test group were86.06%, which were76.65%in control group. The differences between the test group and the control group were significant in statistics (P<0.05), that hint the clinical curative effect of the test group is better than the control group.ConclusionXianglian Series is effective in the treatment of recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis. The curative effect of Xianglian Series in the treatment of recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis is better than miconazole suppositories. There are no significant side effects in the treatment of recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis. Furthermore, the safety and tolerability of Xianglian Series is proved in the treatment. So the Xianglian Series is worth popularizing and applying.
