The Clinical Study Of BushenChangDuZhiLiu Decoction And Du-moxibustion On Ankylosing Spondylitis

Purpose:Through non randomized controlled prospective clinical study, to observe the efficacy and safety of BushenChangDuZhiLiu decoction combined with Du moxibustion on ankylosing spondylitis with kidney deficiency and cold type. At the same time, by constrasting with the two groups before and after treatment, to explore a safe and effective method of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment with Ankylosing spondylitis.Methods:Selected40patients of ankylosing spondylitis with kidney deficiency and cold type from the Rheumatism clinic of Guangdong Province Hospital of TCM, referring to "Guiding principles of clinical research on new drugs of traditional Chinese medicine" and " Discussion on the treatment and dialectic&etiology and pathogenesis of Dalv (ankylosing spondylitis)", which were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with20cases in each group. We use traditional Chinese medicine combined with Du moxibustion on the treatment group, the other use Chinese medicine only. Chinese medicine is the experience method of Jiaoshude. Traditional Chinese medicine a dose of daily, Du moxibustion1times a month, for3months; Before and after treatment were measured in patients with AS disease activity index:index (BASDAI), index (BASFI),(PGA), the overall evaluation of patients with spinal pain VAS, refers to the distance from the chest wall, pillow, degree, Schober test, symptom scores and ESR, CRP, and adopted the international ASAS working group developed (Assessment On Ankylosing Spondylitis Response Critera, ASAS) ASAS20, ASAS50, BASDAI50and TCM syndrome efficacy criteria, At the same time recorde adverse reactions of the two groups during the treatment, evaluation its clinical efficacy and safety as well. Results:The two groups were compared before and after treatment. The treatment group compared with the control group, the BASDAI, spinal pain, spinal inflammation, a distance of such clinical symptoms and symptom score was improved remarkably, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). On ESR, CRP, BASFI, Schober, pillow wall distance indicators improved, two methods have no significant difference (P>0.05).The two groups were compared before and after treatment, the above indexes had significant difference (P<0.05). Symptomatic efficacy of treatment group total effectiveness is94.5%, control group total effective rate was70%; western medicine efficacy index:a treatment group of ASAS20in17cases, ASAS5015cases, BASDAI50in15cases, and the control group of ASAS20in13cases, ASAS501cases, BASDAI50in4cases, witch curative effect obviously surpasses the control group (P<0.05). During the treatment, two cases have appeared gastrointestinal discomfort, then laboratory examination showed no abnormalities, whith through symptomatic treatment were in better condition. During the whole research, there had no signs of skin infection.Conclusion:BushenChangDuZhiLiu decoction combined with Du moxibustion compare with Chinese medicine only on ankylosing spondylitis with kidney deficiency and cold type greatly enhanced clinical curative effect and safety, and has wide application prospect.
