The Effect Of Huanglianwendan Decoction On Inflammatory Factors And Immunity Factors Of Stable Angina Pectoris

Background:With the development of China’s economy and changing of lifestyles, blood pressure、blood fat and BMI (body mass index) are appearing a upward trend, the incidence of coronary heart disease and mortality are also presenting ascending trend. In recent years, lots of laboratory and clinical evidences have proven that partial chronic inflammation or over the body plays an important role through the occurrence、development and related complications of atherosclerosis, the same as immune response. The prevention of coronary heart disease has been one of the most important subjects in the field of medical science at present.Objective:To observe the improvement of Huanglianwendan decoction on Stable angina pectoris, and treatment before and after the hs-CRP, IL-6, TNF-α, C3, immunocytes (mononuclear macrophage、lymphocyte), to assess the effect of Huanglianwendan Decoction on inflammatory markers and immunity factors.Method:A prospective randomized single-bland matched controlled clinical trial is adopted.60patients were choosn who conform to the CHD Stable angina pectoris standard, according to the ratio of1:1composition, the patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group, The treatment group were given Huanglianwendan Decoction besides conventional Western medicine, both treated for4-week period. To observe the changes of angina, ECG effects, TCM symptom inflammatory factors, hs-CRP, IL-6, TNF-α and C3, immunocytes (mononuclear macrophage、lymphocyte) before and after the treatment。Result:1. Angina pectoris:After treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was90.0%, improving significantly better than the control group which effective rate was73.34%. There was a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).2. ECG effect:The total effective rates of treatment group and control group were86.7%and76.7%, but there was no significant difference(P>0.05). TCM syndrom:Symptom scores in both groups were significantly improved (P<0.05), especially in the treatment group improved significantly better than the control group (P<0.01).3. TCM symptoms of clinical efficacy:The total effective rate of treatment group was93.3%, significantly higher than the control group66.7%, showing a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).4. Hs-CRP, IL-6, TNF-α:Levels in the treatment group decreased after theraping, presenting significant difference (P<0.05)。Levels in the control group also decreased, but there was no significant difference after treatment (P>0.05), and the difference between the two groups before and after treatment were signifieant(P<0.05).5. C3, immunocytes (mononuclear macrophage、lymphocyte):After treatment, the level of treatment group showed a significant descending(P<0.05), the control group also decreased, but there was no significant difference (P>0.05)。Compared the two groups, there was no significant difference (P>0.05)Conclusion:Huanglianwendan Decoction could effectively ameliorate the clinical symptoms of stable angina pectoris, reduced the incidence of angina especially there was an important difference in TCM symptoms scores between treatment group and control group, It could decreased the levels hs-CRP、IL-6、 TNF-α, and inhabited the releasing of C3and immunocytes (mononuclear macrophage、lymphocyte), so reduced the occurrence the inflammation, stabled the plaque and restored the damaged blood vessels.As a result, deferring the process of atherosclerosis。...
