The Relationship Between OSAHS And Hypertension In Xining Area | Posted on:2013-04-05 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:X F Shi | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2234330362467088 | Subject:Internal Medicine | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Objective: Our purpose of the study is to discuss the relationship between obstructivesleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS)and hypertension in Xining area and to assessthe pathogenesis of OSAHS-related hypertension.Methods:33cases (33males) with OSAHS were selected as OSAHS group.20cases (20males) of non-OSAHS were selected as control group. Their blood pressures were measuredat bedtime and the morning awaking time. The correlations between the respiratoryparameters and the blood pressure of the OSAHS group were analyzed.Results:1)The BMI of OSAHS group was higher than that of the control group in Xining(P<0.05).2) The longest time of sleep apnea, obstructive sleep apnea index, the timeof SaO2under85%in OSAHS group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05). But the mean oxygen saturation (MSaO2) and the lowest oxygen saturation (LSaO2)in OSAHS group were significantly lower than those in control group (P<0.05).3)The blood pressures of the bedtime and the morning awaking time in OSAHS group werehigher than those in control group (P<0.05).4)There were positive correlations amongthe SBP, the DBP and AHI (P<0.05~0.01) and there were negative correlations amongthe SBP, the DBP and the lowest SaO2(P<0.05~0.01).Conclusion: The results showed that there were positive correlations among the SBP,the DBP and AHI and there were negative correlations among the SBP, the DBP and theLSaO2. The LSaO2in the OSAHS group was significantly lower than that in the controlgroup. It indicated that the hypoxemia during the sleeping time may be one of thefactors of hypertension. The hypobaric and hypoxemia conditions may exacerbate thehypertension. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Xining Area, OSAHS, Hypertension, Sleeping Respiratory Parameters | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
