The purpose of this study was to separate active components from Gentianopsispaludosa(Hook.f.)Ma by HSCCC, and the chemical structures of target products wasanalyzed and identified by MS, NMR.A preparative HSCCC method for isolation and purification of four compoundsfrom Dichloromethane extract was successfully establish by using PE-ethylacetate(EA)-methanol-water(5:5:6:4,4:7:7:4,v:v:v:v)as the two-phase solvet system. The seprated fractions are identified as1,8-dihydroxy-3,7-dimethoxyanthone,1,7-dih-ydroxy-3,8-dimethoxyanthone,1-hydroxy-3,7,8-trimethoxyanthone,1,7,8-trihydroxy-3-met-hoxyanthone with highly useful structural information provided by MS,NMR.What’s more,1,7,8-trihydroxy-3-methoxyanthone was obtained from Gentiano-psis paludosa (Hook.f.)Ma for the first time. Isolated oleanolic acid and ursolic aicdby using PE-(EA)-methanol-water (5:5:4.8:5, v:v:v:v)as the two-phase solvet system.Obtained luteolin from Dichloromethanee extract recovered from the former by usingchloroform-methanol-water(4:3:2,v:v:v)as the two-phase solvet system.
