Armeniaca vulgaris ’luntaibaixing’ is the superior breed (new S-SV-PA-017-2009) in the origin territory of luntai, Xinjiang province. As it has been allowed to the geographical indication protection, it is the open apricot stone processing of special variety with more than1,000years of cultivation history. This paper takes artificial planting A.vulgaris ’luntaibaixing’ in luntai, Xinjiang province. Under the conditions of field production and management, based on "3414"fertilization effect field trials, combining the methods of field in life leaf spectral monitoring, leaf sampling and indoor nutritional elements determination, an investigation has been made on the spectral characteristics of A.vulgaris ’luntaibaixing’ leaves, in order to resolve the response of A.vulgaris ’luntaibaixing’ leaves spectrum and soil N, P, K nutrient elements and its sensitive band. Meanwhile, the relationship between nutrient concentrations and leaf spectral index has been analyzed. The main conclusions are as follows:The main trend of its spectral reflection curve is identical, while the local bands (310-380nm and750-1000nm) are distinctively different. In addition, in the visible band there are reflection peaks and absorption valley. That is to say, the green band (525-605nm) has a higher rate of reflection, while the blue band (380-525nm) and red-orange light band (605-725nm) have a lower reflectivity. The four peaks are at310nm,550nm,750nm and1100nm. There are two absorption valleys at460nm and660nm, and a higher reflective platform in the near infrared region (750-1000nm). The best position to test the spectral reflectance of A.vulgaris ’luntaibaixing’ is the middle part of the leaf. In the process of leaf development, the spectral reflection differs greatly as the nutrient contents and structure inside the leaf change.A.vulgaris ’luntaibaixing leaves in the leaf expansion period (May,1st) and fruit enlargement period (June,2nd) in the visible band, with the increase of soil N application, the spectral reflectance of A.vulgaris ’luntaibaixing’ leaves gradually decreases. While with the increase of soil P and K, the leaf spectral reflectance does not present consistency variation. The spectral sensitivity band of A.vulgaris ’luntaibaixing’ leaves differs in soil N, P and K. The sensitive band of N is green band (525-605nm) and red band (655-725nm), while the sensitive band of P is the green band (525-605nm), and the sensitive band of K is the yellow band (605-655nm).The contents of N, P, and K increase as the amounts of fertilization rises. In the process of leaf development, the N and P elements have a significant positive correlation with ND550. The K content of nutrient elements and spectral index ND(605,655) showed a significant positive correlation, especially in the leaf expansion period (May,1st).
