The research based on the monitoring data of long-term monitered sites inJilin Province. There are5test zones located in the eastern and central whichon behalf of the mainly cultivated soil types in Jilin Province. We collectedsoil pH, organic carbon, total nitrogen, available phosphorus, availablepotassium, fertilization and yield data from these monitered sites. Statisticanalysis of the data helps us to study the spatial and temporal variabilityof cultivated soil quality, understand nutrient dynamic change and providea theoretical basis to improve the utilization percent of cultivated soil inJilin Province. The main results are as follows:1.The zonal and regional distribution of pH is not obvious. The soil pHis in the range of4.5~8.5. During the monitoring period, the paddy soil pHshowed evolution characteristic with smooth fluctuations, the thick layer ofblack soil pH showed evolution characteristic with gradually and slightdecrease. The use patterns of arable from glebe to paddy fields will causesoil pH a sharp rise.2.The spatial patterns of soil organic carbon, total nitrogen contentdecreased from east to west. During the monitoring, soil organic carbon andnitrogen content increased on the areas of eastern and central paddy soil.Andslight decreased on the areas of midwest and central black cultivated. Midwestchernozem showed declining evolution characteristics. The soil organic carbonand nitrogen showed a significant positive correlation between them.3.The available phosphorus content is reduced gradually from east to westin Jilin Province mainly arable. And hydrothermal conditions, especiallyprecipitation conditions play a major role. The cultivated soil whichavailable phosphorus content is lower and phosphorus storage capacity is smallhave weak buffering capacity against phosphorous changes. There are highlysignificant positive correlation between the apparent equilibrium ofphosphorus and the available phosphorus content.4.The interannual variability of soil available potassium in JilinProvince mainly arable is no obviously.Thelaw of zonality is not obvious.Thereare not obvious correlation between the apparent equilibrium of potassium andthe available potassium content.5. To supplement the loss of the soil nutrient, maintain soil fertility. The eastern of Jilin province should increase application amount of nitrogenand potassium fertilizer, and the central region should increase of phosphateand potash fertilizer,center-west region should increase of nitrogen, phosphate and potash fertilizer.
