Study On The Planting Design Of Prunus Mume In Lingfeng, Hangzhou

Prunus mume is one of the traditional Chinese famous flowers. In recent years, with emphasizing onresearch and application, the passion of construction and renovation Prunus mme garden is springing uparound the nation. Hangzhou Lingfeng Garden has a long history, in the construction and developmentof the Prunus mume Garden, more attention to different varieties of ornamental plants and applicationof landscape.And the plant landscape of Prunus mume have been initially formed, attract many touristand scholars concern about.This study combined with aesthetics of landscape architecture, landscape, landscape ecology,history and other related theoretical knowledge, through access to historical documents and scheduledfixed point observation, field surveying and diagramping, from the perspective of Prunus mume plantlandscape configuration research on Lingfeng Prunus mume patterns of landscape history, community,landscape to explore aspects of typical plants of Prunus Mume.The results of this study are summarized as follows:(1) Hangzhou Lingfeng Garden since the Song Dynasty began planting plum fragmentary records,but the scale of planting was small. The first large-scale planting was hosted by Guqing during the QingDynasty. Until new China after the reform and opening up, it ushered in the peak period of developmentplum landscape.(2) Prunus mume plant landscape of Hangzhou Lingfeng Garden is outstanding and seasonallandscape is apparent. There are more than6000strains, belong to three series, five kinds of typeand13pattern，there are total of50varieties. Jiang Mei, Cinnabar, Kwangsiensis and Green calyx typeare about97%. Background plants belong to40families,63generals and96species, mainlyconcentrated in the Rosaceae, Magnolia, Pinaceae, Gramineae, Aquifoliaceae. Deciduous and evergreenratio is about1:2.5, application frequency of80.2%plant species is less than14%, to ensure that in thepursuit of the Prunus mume plant landscape diversity and unitarily. Different seasonal plants havedifferent application, resulting in different landscape. .(3) The Prunus mume plant configurations are rich and diverse, and some types of prunus mumehave become typical plant landscape mode. Plums with other landscape architecture factors (such asbackground plantings, building feedings, water, rocks and road) by natural viticulture (such as isolated,point, planting, block and plant) and various space combination forms (such as open, semi-open, close,overlap, and vertical), building abundance plants views of plums.
