The pilot control surfaces through the hydraulic booster, the performance of hydraulicbooster strongly influenced the stability of aircraft. Severe booster jitter would cause theairc-raft longitudinal oscillation, seriously affected aircraft control, even leaded to accidents.Minor booster jitter although wasn’t easy found, but it affected the stability of high-speedaircraft and the control accuracy of military aircraft, so the research on hydraulic booster wasvery important to the design of aircraft. But the research on hydraulic booster weren’t intact inthe domestic. This paper mainly analyzed the static characteristics and dynamic performancesof the hydraulic booster for aircraft, simulated and studied its main influencing factors onperformance. These all provided foundation for design and study of hydraulic booster.This article main included the following aspects. Firstly, based on hydraulic fluiddynamics, control technology and analysis the working principle of hydraulic booster, thenumerical analysis on static characteristics and dynamic performances of the hydraulicbooster were finished., then the result were compared with actual graph, and the method ofimproving the performance were given. Secondly, based on a large number of literatures, thispaper reasonably simplified the working model of hydraulic booster, built the nonlinearmathematical model, linearised it and analyzed its stability. This article focused on simulationof nonlinear model of hydraulic booster by MATLAB/SIMULINK and analysis on the effectof power ratio valve port, valve overlap form shape, system pressure on dynamicperformances.The innovation of this paper were as follows: analyzed and computed the staticcharacteristics and dynamic performances of the hydraulic booster, and then studied theinfluencing factors were analyzed and discussed. Then studied the stability of hydraulicbooster by routh stability criterion, nyquist stability criterion, bode stability criterion;Analyzed the effect of the change of several structural preferences on dynamic performances,and simulated and studied it by SIMULINK. The result of this paper provided basic theory forthe structure optimization, products research and development and application of hydraulicbooster.
