3D laser scanning technology developed in recent years is a surveying and mappingtechnology, which is also known as the" real copy technology", able to complete and highprecision scanning object space three-dimensional shape reconstruction of scanned objectsurface, without any treatment, truly realize the non-contact measurement.3D laser scanningis known as " the GPS technology since the field of Surveying and mapping is a technologyrevolution". The technique as effective means of getting spatial data, with its fast, accurate, and other advantages of non contact measurement in many fields are playing an increasinglyimportant roleThis paper expounds the3D laser scanning technology in the domestic and foreign researchsituation; analysis scan system classification method, working principle, the3D laser scannerare introduced; the3D laser scanning technology in the field of Surveying and mappingtechnology with the traditional measurement method comparison was done discuss; from theerror theory analysis of ground3D laser scanning system error cause and error of point clouddata influence the precision; finally,3D laser scanning technology for bridge deformationmonitoring.Bridge deformation monitoring is the maintenance of the bridge the normal use of thenecessary technical measures, to protect the country and people’s life and property safety isvery important. On the bridge deformation monitoring can be used in a variety of technicalmeans, such as GPS technology, precise leveling and close-range photogrammetry, relatedmethods and theoretical studies have compared the depth, the formation of the correspondingtechnical and theoretical system.3D laser scanning technology, as a kind of new mappingtechnology, it has many new features and functions, its introduction to deformationmonitoring field, explore its application in the field of theory and methods, will have a veryrealistic significance. This paper using the Canadian company Optech ILRIS3D laser scanner, the bridge modelby scanning, obtained the three-dimensional coordinates of points. The five kinds of loadexperiment, various load conditions of the bridge model of the three-dimensional coordinatesof points. Use of spatial finite element software MIDAS-CIVIL to build the bridge finiteelement model for each condition, theoretical analysis, get the bridge model points ofdisplacement variation value, the theory value and the3D scan results are compared andanalyzed, it is concluded that the bridge model is a flexible system, the loading sitedeformation is obviously, arch rib and stringers by boom are connected as a whole, collaborative work. Found the three-dimensional laser scanning and theoretical calculationresults are closer to the measured data, the deformation curve and the theoretical data are compared, illustrate the discovery of3D laser scanning technology for bridge deformationmonitoring with precision and credibility,3D laser scanning technique has the advantages oflow cost, fast speed and high precision, so the3D laser scanning technology in the bridgedeformation monitoring has broad application prospects.
