Flavoniods and polyphenols are the active ingredient of Camellia oleifera, are thesecondary metabolic products, widely exist in plants, the effective co mponents oftraditional Chinese medicine. Camellia oleifera leaves and seeds as the raw material, it’sstudied for the extraction and purification of flavonoids of Camellia leaves andpolyphenols of Camellia seeds. And then using the product gets research in the function ofantioxidant and antibacterial activities of flavonoids from Camellia oleifera leaves andpolyphenols of Camellia seeds.1Ultrasonic extraction test results of Camellia oleifera leaf flavones showed that theoptimal level of this combination is75%ethanol,70min, solid-liquid ratio1:20, theextraction temperature75℃.2With macroporous adsorption resin to treat the leaching solution of static adsorptionexperiment results show that: the D-101resin to flavonoids from Camellia oleiferaleaves adsorption at the end of8-10hours, reached equilibrium. Dynamic adsorption canbe seen that D-101can handle20times of the volume of the flavonoids. Resiningadsorption of flavonoids in dynamic elution, using70%ethanol at a speed of3times thevolume of the resin can be eluted completely. After the refined process, the purity offlavonoids from Camellia oleifera leaves is55.92%.3The research of the antioxidant and antibacterial action of Camellia oleifera leafflavonoids suggests(1) The purification of Camellia oleifera leaf flavonoids had significant antioxidantactivity. When the concentration of Camellia oleifera leaf flavonoids was1.2mg·mL-1,the clearance rate on hydroxyl radical was68.7%, the clearance rate on O2·-was59.2%, the clearance rate on DPPH was40.2%.(2) Camellia oleifera leaf flavonoids have certain antibacterial activities, and have doseeffect relationship with Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas fluorescens,Salmonellatyphi,Staphylocooccus aureus,Salmonella paratyphi B,EnteropathogenicE.coli,Micrococcus tetragenus. The results showed that the order of the antibacterial activities of Camellia oleifera leaf flavonoids is: Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis,Pseudomonas fluorescens>Salmonellatyphi,Staphylocooccus aureus,Salmonellaparatyphi B>Enteropathogenic E.coli>Micrococcus tetragenus4Ultrasonic extraction test results of Camellia oleifera seed polyphenol showed that theoptimal level of this combination is60%ethanol,35min, solid-liquid ratio1:20, theextraction temperature65℃.5With macroporous adsorption resin to treat the leaching solution of static adsorptionexperiment results show that: the D-3520resin to flavonoids from Camellia oleiferaseeds adsorption at the end of3hours, reached equilibrium. Dynamic adsorption can beseen D-3520can handle2times of the volume of the polyphenols. Resining adsorptionof flavonoids in dynamic elution, using70%ethanol at a speed of3times the volume ofthe resin can be eluted completely. After the refined process, the purity of polyphenolfrom Camellia oleifera seeds is47.25%.6The research of the antioxidant and antibacterial action of Camellia oleifera seedpolyphenols suggests(1) The purification of Camellia oleifera seed polyphenols had significant antioxidantactivity. When the concentration of Camellia oleifera seed polyphenols was1.2mg·mL-1,the clearance rate on hydroxyl radical was73.2%, the clearance rate on O-2·was65.7%,the clearance rate on DPPH was84.3%.(2) Camellia oleifera seed polyphenols have certain antibacterial activities, and have doseeffect relationship with Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas fluorescens,Salmonellatyphi,Staphylocooccus aureus,Salmonella paratyphi B,EnteropathogenicE.coli,Micrococcus tetragenus.
