The global environment pollution problems effect the ecological balance seriously, which are threaten the survival of mankind. It is quite necessary to find out pollutionsources, study the process of contamination transport in environment, which could giveus the scientific method to prevent and manage. The heavy metal contamination is toxicand endangers to people’s health, what’s more, the porous medium including soil androcks is exactly the sources and sinks of heavy metal pollutants. This paper discusses the history and current situation of researches on pollutant’smigration in porous media, through lead ion migration experiments, the Pb(II)migrationin porous media mathematical model of one dimensional dynamics is established, whichhas considered migration, convection, diffusion, adsorption and existing sourceconditions. The hydrodynamic dispersion parameters of the model are estimated bychloride ion breakthrough experiments; the mode of adsorption of Pb (II) in the soil andquartz and retardation factor is determined on the basis of solute oscillation experimentresults with the fitting and calculation of the four adsorption mode. On the other hand, the numerical value of model is achieved by the finite difference method, MATLABsoftware is used to simulate lead solution in one dimensional porous medium migration. And the simulation and monitoring results are put together for comparison and analysis. At the same time, through the lead solution in quartz’s migration experimentdemonstrates the reliability of this mathematic model. Finally, a two-dimensional numerical simulation for lead contamination of a sitehas been achieved, and the simulation parameters are achieved by site survey andcontamination. Analog respectively by the horizontal direction and the vertical directionchanges in the concentration to describe and predict the venue pollution. The work ofthis paper has important theoretical significance and practical value in studying on theheavy metal lead pollution migration law in porous medium and forecasting thepollution range and degree, may the work do help to the porous media pollution control.
