Bamboo is a kind of biomass material with unique structure and excellent mechanical properties and is one of the most important alternative materials which can alleviate the shortage of wood resources of our country. Bamboo wood-based panel is one of the important aspects of the bamboo industrialized utilization. At present, bamboo wood-based panel is generally pursuit of using bamboo entity that not only destroyed the bamboo structure and the good mechanical properties but also made the manufacture process complex, large energy consumption, high cost and low recovery. In this study, the new original bamboo structure composite boards is explored using the bamboo of Bambusa rigida Keng et Keng f as raw material.The technology make the production process more simplify and with the futures of lower energy consumption, lower costs and higher recovery. By analyzing the properties characteristics of the bamboo, the bamboo units natural drying and machining tests and the process of manufacturing composite board, the technology is successfully used in indoor compound door plank production. The main results are as follows:(1) Bamboo (Bambusa rigida Keng et Kengj) can reach the equilibrium moisture content after40days in summer by natural drying in Beijing area. Radial dimension of bamboo occurred shrinkage at once when natural drying experiment began, the smaller age the bigger shrinkage.(2) It is feasible to produce original bamboo structure composite boards with bamboo unit as core layer materials. The production process is less and easy to realize. Raw materials are resourceful and low-cost. The board provides a new way for using small diameter bamboo.(3) The performances of the sample door which is manufactured by the original bamboo structure composite board are stable The resin of the composite board is polyvinyl acetate resin and the press way is cold press. The pressing strength is0.3MPa/m2and pressing time is15h It can be used normally and save cost12.45%. It will have a good application prospect.
