In order to explore the new method of the clarification and decolorization for remeltsyrup of brown granulated sugar, four kinds of clarifying agent such as calcium citrateprecipitate、activated light calcium carbonate、phytic and sulfite have been studied onremelt syrup of brown granulated sugar. The main research contents and results are asfollows:1.Study on clarification and decolorization for remelt syrup of brown granulatedsugar with activated light calcium carbonate. Through single factor and orthogonalexperiment, the optimum parameters are as follows:the mass ratio of activated lightcalcium carbonate and remelt syrup of brown granulated sugar(mass fraction15%) is0.5:100,reaction time32min, the reaction temperature75℃and flocculant dosage3ppm,under this condition, the brown sugar decolorization rate is56.8%.2.Study on clarification and decolorization for remelt syrup of brown granulatedsugar with calcium citrate precipitate. Through single factor and orthogonal experiment, the optimum parameters are as follows:the mass ratio of lime suspension(mass fraction10%) and remelt syrup of brown granulated sugar(mass fraction15%) is5:100, the voluneratio of citric acid and remelt syrup of brown granulated sugar(mass fraction15%) is1.7:100,reaction time25min,the reaction temperature65℃and flocculant dosage4ppm,under this condition, the brown sugar decolorization rate is80%.3.Study on clarification and decolorization for remelt syrup of brown granulatedsugar with activated light calcium carbonate and phytic acid.Through single factor andorthogonal experiment, the optimum parameters are as follows: the mass ratio of activatedlight calcium carbonate and remelt syrup of brown granulated sugar(mass fraction15%) is0.5:100,the volune ratio of phytic acid(mass fraction77%) and remelt syrup of browngranulated sugar(mass fraction15%) is0.25:100, reaction time30min, reactiontemperature40℃and flocculant dosage4ppm,under this condition, the brown sugardecolorization rate is83.82%.4.Study on clarification and decolorization for remelt syrup of brown granulatedsugar with sulfite and phytic. Through single factor and orthogonal experiment, theoptimum parameters are as follows: the mass ratio of lime suspension(mass fraction10%)and remelt syrup of brown granulated sugar(mass fraction15%) is4:100,the volune ratioof sulfite(SO2mass fraction6%) and remelt syrup of brown granulated sugar(massfraction15%) is0.5:100,reaction time20min,reaction temperature60℃,flocculantdosage1.5ppm;the volune ratio of phytic(mass fraction77%) and remelt syrup of brown granulated sugar(mass fraction15%) is0.4:100,reaction time10,reaction temperature60℃and flocculant dosage0.5ppm,by two steps, the brown sugar decolorization rate is88.2%.
