With the rapid development of global information technology, the difficulties faced bythe enterprise is independent of information between departments and information cannotbe shared, leading to the individually existence of information. Not only can't share data,and there is a serious waste of resources, increased maintenance costs, thus impeded thenormal development of enterprises. This requires businesses to integrate a variety ofheterogeneous information systems among departments and external partners, suppliers andcustomers.SAP as a technology pioneer in systems integration, SAP Exchange architecture (XI)provides an efficient integration platform for SAP systems and peripheral systemsintegration; it enables the peripheral system and SAP carry on interaction of system dataand processes. SAP Exchange Infrastructure just started in the country, but still in its infancy,to solve information silos faced by domestic enterprises using this architecture, and the datacan not be shared problem, the paper focuses on the exchange architecture and having theintegration of SAP system and device management system as the application background,focused on the XI-based integration principle and concrete realization. System integrationsthrough XI can effectively reduce the number of interfaces, increase interface reuse rate,reduce development and maintenance costs, and make the integration of external systemseasier.Firstly, SAP systems and external application systems need to be integrated seamlessly,to achieve resource sharing and integration, but this integration depends on the interfacetechnology among the systems. This paper focused on the SAP interface technology,analysed the characteristics of interface commonly used, and proposed selection solution ofSAP interface technology. For any interface technology, it can not without the ABAPinterface development program, this paper presents some of the ABAP program executionefficiency optimization methods.Secondly, this paper focused on the technical structure of the Exchange Infrastructure,Exchange Infrastructure design,configuration,run-time, connection technology of theExchange Infrastructure, and integration of SAP system and device management system forthe application instance, depending on the different call directions, two XI-based integrationsolutions were proposed, and then provide a technical reference for enterprises which prepare for implementing the system.Finally, the combination of these research contents, apply them in the integration of theSAP system and device management system, we get the stable operation effect in theimplementation of the project. In the process of implementation of the project, when thenumber of systems that need to be integrated increase, the pressures XI faces will increasetoo, for the data congestion XI faced, this paper proposes two solutions, and obtained acertain effect in the process of project implementation.
