The Study Of Public Crisis's Internet Opinion Evolution

At present, China is in an important transformation and strategic opportunity period of politics,economics and the culture. All kinds of contradictions are in the state of being sharpened. At the same time, this period is the peak time of various public crisis. Every public crisis attracts great attention of the public and the intense public opinion is substantially coming. As one of the important parts of the social opinion, the influence and effects of the internet opinion is more and more great in recent years.Why does the internet opinion has so great influence and effects? Whether the complicated and changeable internet opinion has its regularity of change or not? What kind of story is behind the change of the internet opinion? With the thinking of the above questions, I start the writing of this thesis.The thesis takes use of the life cycle theory and divides the internet opinion into four phases:happening, outbreak, climax and decline. By combining the internet opinion change of the7·23Wenzhou bullet trains rear-end accident, this thesis is planning to recognizes and grasps the regularity of the produce and the change of the complicated internet opinion. Through reading the relevant internet opinion documents and collecting, arranging and analyzing the internet opinion of the7·23bullet trains rear-end accident, we can find that the complicated change of the internet opinion is greatly influenced by the process of crisis treatment and both in a positive correlation. The positive effects of the government, the involved party, media and the netizen group is behind all of the above.1The government expects the crisis could be treated in time and try to reduce the focus and pressure of the public in order to maintain the stable and normal live order of the society.2In the early time, the involved person of the injured party expects the extensive public attention for the crisis in order to gain more social supports; While in the later time, for the consideration of reducing the attention and pressure of the public opinion, the involved person would facilitate the decline of the internet opinion by the way of saying nothing.3In the early time, all the media would positively report and evaluate the crisis, so as to increase its influence and the approval of the public; while in the later time, various medias would help the peacefully solve of the crisis and the decline of the internet opinion by considering the government control and the self constraint.4The netizen group wants to form powerful opinion pressure through the positive focus and evaluation towards the crisis in order to force the concession of the government and the crisis could be solved fairly.Through the behaviour of the government, the involved person, the media and the netizen group, we can find:(1) The communication among people from different social sectors is intensified. The discourse awareness of the Chinese public is gradually awakening and the citizen spirit is condensed.(2) The freedom of the media is broadening. Mutually affected information communication is gradually formed in the traditional popular media and the emerging internet media, especially the latter.(3) Government's respond strategy towards the public opinion is transformed from controlling to guiding, from solely government treatment to government leading and the public positively take part in; therefore the communication between the government and the public is intensified.
