This thesis studies on using the expert system to solve the problem of frequency planning on battlefield communications network. Due to war communications are wireless network based on services, compared with normal public net work, the planning methods of frequency are definitely different. The planning methods of war communications were discussed by using expert system platform based on battlefield and tactics. The intelligent optimization algorithms were given to solve battlefield frequency planning in this paper.First, this thesis describes the importance of the battlefield frequency allocation and frequency environment that joined the impact of terrain in the coverage prediction. In order to network planning system has parameter selection and skill reference of network frequency allocation, network frequency planning library and storage of related content were set. So Battlefield network frequency planning should consider the following factors:environmental constraints, all units of the war, limitation and flexibility of network frequency, and so on. The system studies the expert systems and analyzes the feasibility of the expert system. According to the characteristics of the frequency hopping radio and principles of spread spectrum communication, the methods of subnet gateway interference and frequency allocation were analyzed. A variety of feasible and effective intelligent algorithm was summarized in the field of frequency allocation. Since the concept and principle of the intelligent optimization algorithms were introduces in various fields, the popular intelligent optimization algorithms solve the frequency allocation problem and use a variety of intelligent optimization algorithms that include genetic algorithm, ant colony algorithm, simulate annealing algorithm and so on. Compared with each algorithm, range application of each algorithm was given. The battlefield communications network frequency allocation algorithm was proposed and analyzed by researching in this paper. Finally, the paper describes that software design and implementation of inference engine of the frequency allocation expert system.
