Design And Implementation Of Flex & J2EE Based Family Network

Along with the rapid development of information technology, high-tech has been involved into anywhere of people's life. In China, traditional family tree is normally in paper, recording approach is manual, recorded information is also limited to the name and life, and it is impossible to record the information like someone's profile picture. Also, it will be much difficult to maintain these papers, and for the big families, the family tree needs to be consolidated and fixed about each 30 years, which costs a lot of manpower and materials; and in the normal families, we even cannot remember the names of the folks above your grandpa or grandma. So, the requirement to create family network is much urgent and it is also a trend in our modern high-tech society.In allusion to the problem of the traditional family tree, combining with advanced network information processing technology, this thesis put forward a series of improvement methods, which mainly include the following five aspects:(1) Analyze whole application's logics and functionalities, establish the data modeling, and do detailed description on each field in the data workflow accordingly using data dictionary;(2) Design the sub-systems and related models, and describe the functional models deeply like family tree,commemorations,family album,personal profile,Chinese family surname and family blog;(3) Use latest Adobe Flex technology to build well viewed family tree, providing perfect user experience on RIA platform which including the effects like great family tree, zoom in/out and moving operations, etc. Also Use PHP and XML technologies to do tree data encapsulation; (4) Use J2EE SSH framework (Struts, Spring, Hibernate) to proceed the business and database layers transactions, and validate the front-end page, also use Adobe BlazeDS to integrate J2EE with Flex family tree;(5) Describe the algorithms and workflows used in each module of this application, do the detailed testing to ensure the system functionalities'correctness, security and stability.
