Archive is not only a valuable asset of human society, but also the precious memories of the country. However, due to a variety of complex factors, Archives and Archives work in the development of the society role has not been widely play,and the value of Archives has not been exert. This unfortunate phenomenon is not only the archives created the backward situation, the more important is blocking the dissemination of information, the archives huge energy is idle, so that the public do not understand the archives and the work. The objective of archives publicity is to external communication. Since the founding of new China, the archives work has been evolved over the objects in the promotion, content and manner have a greater progress, especially the 1988 "People's Republic of Archives Law" enacted, not only improve the social status of the archives to enhance the legal awareness of the file, but also shorten the distance between the archives and the public made an important contribution. However, in practice, due to various reasons, although our archives publicity has been carried out for decades, there still has a lot of people do not understand the work of archives and the archives is still not very comprehensive, there are many public prejudice and misunderstanding. The existence of these realities, the full description of our publicity is not satisfactory. At present, access to high-speed information age, information on the origin of the file that requires more urgent attention. However, the problems in the work of archives demand higher requirements. Analysis of the causes of these problems, complex and diverse, so we must seriously study the characteristics of the archives publicity, explore science, reasonable publicity strategy, comprehensive understanding of the archives and the real situation of work, understand and support archives the full use of the archives, it to improve community awareness and, ultimately, the goal of socialist modernization.This paper focuses on the social context of information technology, combined with publicity of the archives of the actual situation and policies, work and social environment from the archives are the two mainly factors, start to publicize the existence of the archives under the new problems and strategies,I hope to provide some reference to archives staffs.The text is more thirty thousand words, three parts is sub-introduction, body, and conclusion. Introduction expounds the background, literature review, methodology, and made original description. The body is divided into three parts. The first part is an overview of archives publicity, which is archives the definition and connotation, describes the purpose of archives and policy advocacy, advocacy organizations settings, and archives and content of the object of propaganda and publicity. The second part introduces the history of our archives review and publicity work status. Publicity through the introduction of the development process of the archives. Describes the development of archives publicity factor since the new China was founded in different historical periods. To sum up the founding of the publicity we have made some encouraging results, including the archives of the daily propaganda work, and promote the development of the archives, the formation of a wealth of publicity and awareness the development of archives publicity factor and file the legal system in depth, fully affirmed the efforts of our advocacy work file results. Also, find out the publicity work of our problems, mainly in the guiding ideology of the archives there are still some bias, uneven development between regions, lag behind other business advocacy work, and publicity is insufficient long-term and persistent problems. Analysis of the main reasons for these problems lies in social political economic and cultural factors, the development of their own archival work, and publicity and public barriers to the needs of the archives. The third part of the previous paper based on the analysis, by drawing on libraries, museums and other cultural institutions of foreign archives valuable experience in advocacy work, constructive archives under the new situation presented publicity strategy. Change the information, mainly from the concept of doing the basic work, enhancing the quality of personnel, evaluation files publicity and publicity of the public choice and other aspects of advocacy work to solve problems.
