Welfare economist Huang Youguang regards marriage and family, the religious belief and social status as three primary factors which affect a person's sense of happiness. Mainly because marriage plays a vital role in our daily life, in the sense that it leads to love satisfication, psychological security, family relationship and division of labor, and kinship ties etc. Since ancient times, the Chinese took the family very seriously. And marriage is an important form of family community. China since ancient times has had an hard doctrine -- "There are three unfilial acts; and bearing no descendant is by far the most unforgivable." So we can find one of the most important functions of marriage is to expand kinship ties and produce new generations so as to make the continuation of race possible. As to a group of people——the disabled who has been marginalized all the time, family also has profound significance. For them, the low socioeconomic status, the ill (physical, psychological and spritual) condition of body and the lack of social capital make marriage and family even more important than healthy people. For most of them, their families are their whole world. This research originated from the experiences and feelings of my friend, whose status of marriage triggered my interest and research ideas. In the process of (falling) love and getting married, the disabled are restrained by their own physical and mental limitations on the one hand, and the social environment and the community's attitudes and response have a great negative impact on their behavior and development, on the other. Based on the sociology theory in which Weber explained social action, I conducted a qualitative study, to construct a picture of the current marriage act of the disabled, that is, to describe the marriage behavior of persons with disabilities and afterwords to attempt to explain the influencing factors of such characteristics.According to the study, I found that the disabled shows a curious mixture of eagerness and terror in the marriage behavior. Married people with disabilities are mainly those with mild physical disabilities and speech and hearing disabilities and those with severely mental and intellectual disabilities rarely get married. The reason why the disabled are poor in autonomous marriage behavior is that most marriages are promoted by their parents and relatives, which leads to a embarrassing situation that both of the couple are disabled, or once formed, the family gets trapped in poverty immediately after the forming of the marriage. Besides, under the influence of filial piety, most families with disabled person are willing to have future generations or already have their children. But what factors have led to such marriage features? Based on the research, I drew a conclusion that the factors are mainly concentrated in self marginalization of the disabled and different forms of social marginalization. Self marginalization factors includes the diminishment of the self-image, acceptance of a low social status and developing a so-called "logical" conception of marriage and love. On the other hand, social marginalization lies in the denial of the people with disabilities in the dominant social ideology and People's everyday actions, And thus their human dignity is denied, too. As a social fact, the marriage of the disabled is not a simple individual choice, and the impact of the external environment and the reaction of the surrounding crowd will invisibly strengthen their sense of inferiority, incompetence, and vulnerable posture, making their behaviors different from others'.
