The Political Identity Of Present College Students

Political identity is an unavoidable question of present political life. As a special and relatively independent group, college students will play an important role in real social life and future social development. The conditions of college students' political identity is related not only to the improvement of their own political quality but also to the stabilization of political system and the development of society, so it occupies an very important position in the politicization of the whole society.The passage is divided into four parts. In the first part, it discusses the reasons and meanings of studying the political identity of present college students. At the same time, it summarizes the related theories in this field as well as their referential meaning for this research. In the second part, it proposes the concept and content of college students' political identity, analyzing its form mechanism and theoretical basis.In the third part, on describing the present situation of college students' political identity, this part analyzes its influencing factors, which include the shock of globalization, the disadvantage of market-based system, the influence of government performance, the inefficiency of political education and the deficiency of political awareness.Finally, in the fourth part, it puts forward the ways to improve the situation of college students'political identity. That is, to initiate mainstream social ideology, to integrate political social media, to promote government performance, to reinforce political education and to consolidate the internalization of college students.
