The Inquiry Into Women's Political Participation Under The Background Of The Villagers' Autonomy

Since Reformation and Opening, the villagers'autonomy in China is increasingly perfect with the development of socialist democratic politics. And it provides a powerful platform for rural women to attend political activities. However, during the execution process of villager autonomy, the rural women can not get fully involved in villager autonomy for various reasons. Therefore, improving rural women to widely participate in politics has played a significant role in strengthening the democratic construction of grass-roots and building harmonious society. With the combination of the related theories and knowledge such as political sociology, women psychology and women sociology, this thesis takes X village (YongChun, Quanzhou) as an example to analyze the status quo of rural women participation in politics in terms of economy, culture, regime and themselves. On this basis, it puts forward the countermeasure proposals to encourage rural women to participate in politics,improve the development of democracy construction of rural basic units, realize the political equality such as improving women's economic status, constructing advanced culture, optimizing the environment of women's participation, improving the ability of women's participation.
