Alzheimer disease (AD) is the most common form of dementia, which is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by global cognitive decline involving memory, orientation, judgment, and reasoning. In 2006, there were 26.6 million sufferers worldwide. Alzheimer's is predicted to affect 1 in 85 people globally by 2050.At present, there is no definitive evidence to support that any particular measure is effective in preventing AD. In order to treat Alzheimer's disease, the genes causing Alzheimer's disease must be found to understand the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease, so the identification of the genes associated with AD is one of key studies. Currently many approaches to identify the genes associated with Alzheimer's disease are through analyzing DNA microarray data and different expression of genes. In this paper, proper algorithm is set to identify Alzheimer's genes. The main research contents are as follow:(1) Alzheimer disease, the technology of gene-chip and current research situation to identify genes associated Alzheimer disease are introduced. Moreover, the modeling course and realizing steps are introduced in detail.(2)Firstly, the algorithm is applied to analyze and process the DNA microarray data. Then identify the candidate genes of Alzheimer's disease according to the expression level deviation of genes. Next the candidate genes will be researched and the genes also found as abnormal genes by other researchers will be marked to focus on. Finally, these genes will serve as the object for subsequent biological verification. Experiments result show that some of the candidate genes have been confirmed associated with Alzheimer's disease or associated with nervous disease by other researchers. Therefore, the results of this paper are valuable for reference.(3) In order to understand the algorithm present in this paper easily, the data structure and the procedure code of the algorithm are introduced in detail.
