Consequently factors affecting the health of the pregnant women and newborns can be identified, and the affection of age of the pregnant women and pregnancy weight index on the common complications of pregnancy in line with the actual situation in the region so as to improve the quality of the newborns.Methods:By employing the medical physical examination, inquiry and laboratory diagnosis, Chose 923 pregnant women with complete medical records are surveyed in based outpatient gynecology clinic of Tai'an Central Hospital who have had their routine prenatal check in the Tai'an Central Hospital. There were 886 among these samples are follow-up till the baby is delivered to observe the prenatal outcomes. All the datas are uniformly coded and statistical analyzed with SPSS 13.0.Results:The average age of 886 samples is 28.14±4.97 years old. This maternal age constitutions in Urban and rural areas pose not significant differences (p>0.05). The average weight index is 28.52±3.67. The rate of over weighted and obese pregnancy is 83.5 percent. The average newborn birth weight is 3271.3g; the rate of macrosomia infants and the rate of low birth weight are separatively 7.2% and 6.9%. The rate of caesarean birth is 63.5 percent. The pregnancy rate of anemia is 23.6%; the rates of the gestational diabetes and the hypertensive disorders of pregnancy are respectively 5.8% and 11.7%; 41 percent suffer from the pregnancy edema. There are relationships between pregnancy high blood pressure with age, weight index, weight of newborn and edema, between gestational diabetes with pregnancy age, weight index and blood pressure, between anemia with weight index and blood pressure.Conclusion:This subject shown the age of pregnancy is increasing. There is no region difference in common complications of pregnancy.
