Analysis On The Demand Of Pregnant Women’s Health Management App And Its Influencing Factors

Objective:Good pregnancy management is the key to prepotency,which plays an important role in reducing maternal mortality.With the development of mobile health,pregnant women can access several health management services through applications,applications of pregnant women’s health management has gradually become a new tool to promote maternal health management.This study survey the demand of applications to pregnant women’s health management,utilization ratio of pregnant women on those applications,awareness of community health management and the demands of them,and to explore the main influencing factors of them.Proposals are put forward from different perspectives,such as pregnant women,exploitation and design of applications,community,government and so on.Methods:The literature screening method was used to describe the research progress and focus of pregnant women’s health management through mobile health in China and abroad,summing up its research overviews and development directions,and providing theoretical basis for this research program.A stratified random sampling method was applied to estimate the current situation of the demands for pregnant women’s health management.Statistical analysis such as descriptive analysis,t test,chi-square test,one-way anova,logistic regression and multivariate logistic regression were conducted in this study.Results:1.During the study period,approximately 506(78.6%)cases of pregnant women were reported having used health management applications,while those having never used 138(21%),indicating a high utilization.The minority(n=248,38.5%)of participants had a higher cognitive level of community health management,comparing to the remaining part(n=397,61.6%),which revealed the cognitive was not so high in general.The majority(n=557,86.4%)reported that applications of health management were greatly required.A small proportion(n=88,16.6%)ofparticipants declared no requirements at the time of study.2.In the univariate analysis of the use of application of pregnant women’s health management,age,fetus number,time online,awareness of community health management and their own health needs were significantly associated with utilization.3.In the univariate analysis of the cognition of community health management in pregnant women,the fetus number was positively skewed.4.Statistical significant association was found between damend of application of pregnant women’s health management and household registration,fetus number,age,educational level,time online,demand of self-health management,using status,frequency of use and focus of attention.5.Multivariate analysis showed that age,education level,number of fetuses,the damend for application of pregnant women’s health management,cognition of community health management were significantly associated with participant’s usage of applications,especially the cognition of community health management was the greatest impact.6.Multivariate analysis of the cognition of community health management in pregnant women also found that only fetus number has an effect on cognition.7.In the multivariate analysis,the damends of applications,age,fetus number,household income,occupation,frequency of use,focus of attention to damend of applications of pregnant women’s health management were the main factors,among those focus of attention ranking first,and later age,occupation,family monthly income,frequency of use and the number of fetal.Conclusion:Pregnant women have a higher demand for application of health management.Age,fetus number,family income,occupation,use situation,attention module has an impact on the demand of pregnant women.The main factors influencing the utilization of application of health management were age,fetus number,education level,demand of slef-health management and cognition.Among them is the fetus number standing first on the list.Therefore,in order to satisfy the demand of application of pregnant women’s health management,pregnant women shouldenhance the cognition of community health management,and actively participate in their own health management.Exploitation and design departments need to subdivide the application category,and design varied functional modules to meet different requirements.Primary health care facilities are supposed to take an active part in providing timely and effective online and offline service for pregnant women.Government departments should formulate and perfect relevant laws and regulations to manage application of mobile health.
