Objective:To investigate the behavior and family factors in tic disorder(TD) children; to analyze the behavior character in TD children under different clinic conditions; to discuss the effect of family factors on behavior in TD children .Methods:63 children with TD and 62 normal children were evaluated with Child behavior checklist (CBCL, for parents) and Family Environment Scale-Chinese Version(FES-CV) and self-designed questionnaire of family environment, and got the total scores of CBCL and the incidence rate of abnormal behavior in all children. Chi-square test was used to analyze the family environment, and t test was used to analyze results of CBCL and FES-CV. Analysis of variance and t test were used to analyze the CBCL scores in TD children under different clinic conditions. Person correlation analysis was used to analysis the correlation of behavior and family factors in TD children. Select family factors as independent variable to do multiple linear regression analysis of behavior in TD children.Results:①There were differences between the two groups including parenting type, family type, father's degree of education, mother's degree of education and family history of neurological and psychiatric disorders(p<0.05) .②The incidence rate of abnormal behavior in TD children was 50.79% and was significantly different from the control group(p<0.01).③The total scores and each factor score in TD children were significantly higher than the control group(p<0.05), and the total scores and each factor score in boy of TD group were higher than the control group(p<0.05), and the scores of body complain and attention problem in girl of TD group were higher than the control group(p<0.05).④The comparisons of CBCL among different clinic conditions in TD group: there were no statistic differences among different clinic type; the score of body complain in moderate to severe group was higher than mild group(p<0.05); the scores of attention problem, disciplinary offence, aggressive behavior, export-oriented behavior problems and behavior problem in TD group comorbid ADHD were higher than simple TD group(p<0.05).⑤The score of intimacy in TD group was lower than the control group(p<0.001); the score of incompatibility in TD group was higher than the control group(p<0.01).⑥Correlation analysis showed: social withdrawal was negatively correlated with intimacy and emotional expression; attention problem was positively correlated with incompatibility; disciplinary offence and aggressive behavior were negatively correlated with intimacy and positively correlated with incompatibility; behavior problem was negatively correlated with intimacy.⑦Multiple linear stepwise regression analysis suggested that the major family factors influence on TD children's behavior were family history of neurological and psychiatric disorders and mother's degree of education; behavior problem in TD children was positively correlated with family history of neurological and psychiatric disorders and negatively correlated with mother's degree of education.Conclusion:①Children with TD had broad and obvious behavior disorder which was different according to gender, whether comorbid ADHD and severity of TD.②TD children were living under relatively disadvantages conditions and the conditions had influence on children's behavior, so the society should pay high attention to it.③The major family factors influence on TD children's behavior were family history of neurological and psychiatric disorders and mother's degree of education. |
