Objective: To provide the optimum reference for anterior teeth restroration, the clinical repairing effect of PFM made of Ni-Cr alloy, Ag-Pd alloy and all-ceramic crown were observed and compared. Methods: 90 patients who are from clinic and need the anterior teeth rehabilitation of both upper and lower jaws were undergone respectively for Ni-Cr alloy PFM (60 teeth), Ag-Pd alloy PFM (46 teeth) and all-ceramic crown PFM (38 teeth) observed for 12 months. The variations of GI before, after 6 and12 months were observed respectively. Such the clinical data as marginal coloring of restoration, margin bonding degree, color of restoration, fracture of restoration and profile of restoration was evaluated. Results: Health status of gingiva with both groups of Ni-Cr alloy and all-ceramic crown were better than the group of Ag-Pd alloy (P<0.01); There is no marginal coloring in the group of all-ceramic crown, meanwhile color and profile of this group was better than the group of Ni-Cr alloy (P<0.01); The significant difference between group of Ni-Cr alloy and group of Ag-Pd alloy was marginal coloring and margin bonding degree of the restoration (P<0.05) There were no crack, fracture and shedding ceramic in the three groups. Conclusion: The clinical restoration effect of both groups of Ni-Cr alloy PFM and all-ceramic crown PFM was better than the group of Ag-Pd alloy PFM, the all-ceramic crown PFM group was the best.
