The Efficacy Of Locking Plate And Anatomic Plate In Treatment Of Distal Femur Fractures

Objective:To explore and analyze the efficacy of locking and anatomic plate in the treatment of distal femur fracture.Methods:There were 63 cases total,35 cases in which locking plate, A1 in 4 cases, A2 type 3, A36 cases, B1 type 2 patients, B2,3 cases, B3 type 2 cases, C1 5 cases, C26 cases, C3 in 4 cases; anatomical plate group of 28 patients, A1 6 cases, A2 in 4 cases, A35 cases, B1 type 2 patients, B2 type 1 case, B31 case, C1 4 cases, C2-type 2 patients, C3 in 3 cases; Both groups were in surgery within 2 weeks after injury, Associated with bone defects or compression fractures who were taken from the iliac bone graft or allograft mixed; In the operation time, blood loss, hospital stay, healing time and the knee function score and other indicators for two groups of patients on the statistical methods and analysis of efficacy.Results:The mean operative time of locking plate 90 minutes, mean blood loss was 310ml; anatomical plate group, the average operation time was 110 minutes, mean blood loss was 420ml; all of incisions were healed after surgery, pain and swelling gradually disappeared, and discharged were followed up for 8 to 18 months, locking plate group 18 to 32 weeks fracture healing,1 case of open fractures, soft tissue trauma severely, and surgery 2 weeks after injury, postoperative knee stiffness, flexion and extension 6～8°; Anatomy plate group 20 to 48 weeks of fracture healing,1 case of open fractures, bone defects, postoperative nonunion, internal fixation loosening, deformation, and 1 extensive comminuted articular fracture, delayed union, knee stiffness, flexion 5°～9°, joint space narrowing. According to Merchan knee score standards:locked board were excellent in 25 cases, good in 6 cases, in 3 cases and poor in 1 case, good rate of 88.57%; anatomical plates were excellent in 13 cases, good in 8 cases, in 5 and poor in 2 cases good rate 75.00%.Conclusion:Locking plate and anatomical plates are suitable for different types of fractures of the distal femur; Follow the principles of minimally invasive, with particular attention to protecting the blood supply around the fracture, intra-articular fractures should restore joint surface is smooth, reliable fixation and early functional exercise; locking plate in this set of data more effective than anatomy board.
